I like how every character in this game is supposed to have 1 specific place out of the 32 available. Someone said it best: top 5 in MK has 10 characters.

Sektor is awesome, how is he not top ten? Top five is a little much, but I can't name ten characters better than Sektor.

Sektor is a solid character but I think he sits at around 12th. The characters I think are better than Sektor are Kabal, Kenshi, Sonya, Cage, KL, Freddy, Kitana, Jax, Smoke, Cyrax, Skarlet.

Freddy could be anywhere from 5-10, but he's not top 5. He has three bad match ups. Maybe four. Only dedicated Freddy players know how to make match ups such as Freddy vs. Kung Lao / Mileena / Smoke winnable.

I actually think now that Sektor might just be outside the top 10. I have Kabal, Kenshi, Sonya, Raiden, Smoke, Kung Lao, Cyrax, Kitana, Freddy and Jax ahead of him in that order.

So for me Sektor is 11th and Freddy is 9th

...I'm not someone who doesn't play the character. He's been my sub for a long, long time. I'm not saying he's top ten as someone who has no experience with him, by any means.

I don't think being outside of ten would make him bad either, but this 12 to 15 shit just sounds silly to me. He has fewer bad matchups than the overwhelming majority of the cast, and nothing worse than a 4-6. As far as I'm concerned, the only reason he isn't flat-out top five is that he doesn't have anything exploitable, a la Kabal, Raiden, Cyrax or Kenshi.
