The Official Bring VSM To Toryuken Thread.

VSM, you must come to Canada for Toryuken on May 19th.

I know REO has brought this up to you guys, and you have yet to respond. I realize that Canada has leveled up quite a bit and the prospects of fighting Shujinkydink, Death, @NeoRussel,@Shady, Kfrog, STB TakeAChance (lol), Jimmypotato, Temjiin, Altaire and others scare the hell out of you, but let me be the first to say...your defeat will be quick and painless.

So, CD jr, REO, Insuperable, Maxter, CRAZY DOMINICAN, KT Smith, jamessmk and hell, even Tom Brady if he can get a ride...

Bring your Candy asses up to Toryuken, let's see what your made of.

THis Will Be My first and most likely only tournament ever within the MK scene. I feel like I put my heart and soul into this, and If I only get one chance to see everyone, I would really like to at Toryuken. This invitation goes to everyone who even has the slightest chance of going. Please come. I want to meet you all, shake your hands, and share a beer. Thank you, and god bless.

Death isn't from Canada and this thread is a joke. If VSM/Team-NY goes to Toryuken, they will turn it into an MK-Graveyard for former Canadian players. Imagine your names next to "Boon", Tobias", "Forden" and others permanently for all MK-players to see for generations to come.

LOL Death is canadian dude, deal with it, he lives in the states brah,

I want my run back with REO, I played my first stream match at a major against him and only won one round, Im on the come back tour like the fuckin backstreet boys.

Either way, I hope at the end of this god damn debacle we can all chill at the fuckin stip club and ogle women that make way more money then all of us ;)

Holy shit, have people STILL not figured out that Death is Canadian?

Regardless, Toryuken is looking at a turnout of 50+, and that's straight from Neo Russell. I think it'll actually break 60, and more if VSM comes. It's cheaper to drive to Toronto from NYC than it is to drive to Columbus or Atlanta, so why not? CD Jr is going, and so should the rest of you.

All the bullshit aside, I would really love to see a lot of people I've met while traveling to tourneys in the U.S. Considering that this may be my last MK9 major for a long long while I would love for it to be as epic as possible and hang out with great people like CD jr Maxter REO SwiftTomHanks CRAZY DOMINICAN KT Smith J360 Claude VonStroke Hitoshura Death one more time before I step away from traveling for this game for a while.

Hope to see as many of you as can make it there. Win or lose it's going to be a good tourney.

But if they show up , it's gonna ruin the tournament and none of the Canadians will stand a chance of winning their own tournament....are you guys sure that's what you want? What could you guys possibly have that VSM/Team-NY won't be ready for (or wasn't ready for 6 months ago)??? Even Trey Parker says Canada "isn't even a real country anyway" :p

...Is this a joke?

If none of the top players show up, then winning Toryuken means nothing. No one cares about a fraud major. I'd sooner go two and out at a tournament that really counts than win a tournament without any real competition.

I'll be extremely disappointed if we don't see REO, Maxter and CD jr show up for Toryuken, at the very least.

Power-up, Atlanta (I think)...CD ran through Team-WC, then Eliminated by Detroitballn313....then CDjr steps in and finished it off 2-5. (I'm pretty sure that was Power-up in ATL when REO took 1st and Pig 2nd, right?)

Dude....you're RIGHT!!! it WAS Final Round.....where has my brain disappeared to?

Then he's entitled to represent that scene if he so chooses. If he does not, that is within his right as well. If there were a Michigan scene to represent, then Detroit would be equally entitled to represent them if he saw fit.
