At MLG Columbus wireless controllers were illegal with the bizarre exception that you could use the stock PS3 wireless controller.

Even if they're not required, a wired controller is a good thing to own just in general. That way you don't ever have to worry about accidentally pressing the home button while it's still synced to a PS3 and fucking up someone's match.

ah okay cool, probably because sony is a sponsor they allowed the stock wireless pads.. i play on stick.. i was just wondering for my team mates going to anaheim with me. thanks though.. yeah they need a ps2 pad anyways for evo and such
