I'm hardly saying he doesnt win, I'm the 1 saying he has 1 bad matchup, its just that your numbers are off. And even then its still hard to know if your numbers, or mine, are actually accurate, because as it stands there are still VERY few players that are actually masters of their respective characters.

I'm assuming it's the Sub-Zero and Kenshi numbers that are off.

u guys need to understand.. when talking about matchup charts, you need to be talking about the absolute best Cages in the US. No most of your mediocre cages's.

Tier charts mean nothing unless you are talking about CD jrs jax or reo's kabel

CDjr says Cage beats Liu and Jax. Maxter says Cage beats Cyrax and Raiden. Scoot and Slips say the Cage vs Scorpion match is horrible. Kano, just come on... It's fucking Kano. Mediocre projectile and poor footsies. How is this match not shit for him?

The numbers may not be 100% accurate, but it doesn't matter. The main point is Cage beats them, and that is the important part.

If jax cage is 3-7...then nw cage is 1-9. Jax has all the tools nw has but better, AND a smaller hitbox. Lol. Nw has slightly better normals with more range but does that make his footsies better?

I'm not saying the best I'm agreeing with you on tht. Best melee characters imo looks like this.

Sonya > Jax > Kung Lao > Cage > Liu kang > Rain

Some characters have rushdown as well but I don't consider them to be purely Melee characters like reptile. He can do both.

Oh and for the record this game is not balanced. Over time as this game evolved so did the Mu's. This tends to happen in all FGS so this is nothing new.

Nw is better against Cage than Jax IMO, he has the same threats, but they do more damage, better strings etc. The hitbox thing doesnt really matter against Cage unless its Reptile or Ermac

Cyrax vs Cage is 5-5, because while Cage can catch Cyrax and do alot of damage, its the same for Cyrax, Cage usually has to use his meter whenever possible while up close, just to make sure Cyrax cant move, which means if you do get hit by a Cyrax, you're more likely to eat the combos.

They both have 9 frame moves, and each time the other gets caught they're both gonna lose alot of life.

Then this isnt a 'true' matchup chart now is it? Because of the publicity Cage has gotten due to MLG, is that not the reason these Cage bandwagon has popped up everywhere? Besides, no one has thoroughly explored many of the cast yet, such as Scarlett, NW, Stryker, Baraka, whos to say no 'new tech' would boost them up to S tier?

These types of charts are a waste of time and are stupid. 2-8s in this game? No thanks, its much more balanced than you are giving it credits for. My friend plays Scorpion and he still beats my Cage 45-50% of the time, does this mean I am playing that horribly that I would lose to a 2-8 match? Am I being outplayed by that much? No. This thread is stupid and a waste of bandwidth. Dont feed the trolls.
