Shoutouts to Kevo placing 4th and Lionheart getting top 8.

Wish I could've watched the tourney!

Just watched the archived footage. Those were some good quality, hype matches guys with some great moments as always. The crowd was awesome btw.

Congrats Maxter.

This has been the msot diverse grand finals ever, I think we literally saw half the roster in the grand fight to the finish.

Relaxedstate I sent STORMS the corrected bracket and let him know that you were 17th and Claude was 33rd.

Also, I learned a very important lesson tonight

NEVER use Jade in tourney!!! She's fun to play, but she's just not viable for a tourney.
Thanks haha, I was feeling good about making top 8 but then I ran right into SwiftTomHanks in a great set! Was close but he kept me from the top 16 bay, and made me appreciate sektor on a whole new level. Much respect! Mad props to your self for bringing out Jade! When I first looked at the stream I thought it was a button check...then I was like damnnnnnnn

My eyes! The goggles do nothing!
Great experience for my first tournament; it was a lot of fun. I need to get one of these Asus monitors and work on my timing.. I dropped way too many combos. Playing in a tourney felt a lot different from playing online. Most decisions I made were on the side of caution because every decision you make and every match you play can potentially get you closer to elimination.

I'm very glad I got to play CD jr in my 2nd match , that was a "welcome to the big show" moment for me.

Major props to the NOVA/SOVA, WNBA, and VSM crews for being really cool guys, as well as N0rdicNinja , Blackula , and their friends for putting on a very well run and fun tournament. And big congrats to Maxter for the win!

Also, I agree that Death vs CDjr was the most hype match of the night. That was a great win for Death.

Our first tournament was 8 months ago with 16 (almost entirely local) players. This weekend we had 50, and the majority of the original 16 are still with us! Mad respect to this community for helping us get to this point! Rest assured, there will be way more hype to come!
