My favorite director of all time.
My favorite fucker from Hollywood in general of all time.
Responsible for some of THE best movies of all time.
If I ever said fuck it and took my writing powers to California, he'd be the guy I seek out.

This is where all who appreciate the power of the Q shall come to give thanks :D.

Here's one of my favorite scenes of on-screen Quentin, from one of his lesser-known endeavors, "Four Rooms."
Suuuuuuuuuuuch a good movie...if you haven't seen it, you really, really should.

He certainly is an interesting director and writer. My favorites of his movies would probably be Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs also great, Pulp Fiction I really enjoyed in my younger days but I think I've seen it way too many times now. If you seek someone out in Hollywood to write for find Micheal Bay.

It's the best. Well, almost the best. I still have to put the Bride at #1.

1. Kill Bill, Vol. 2.
2. Pulp Fiction.
3. Kill Bill, Vol. 1.
4. Reservoir Dogs.
5. Inglorious Basterds.
6. Jackie Brown.

Now, I loved Basterds dearly.
But out of all Quentino's work, it's the only one I really can't watch more than once in a blue mood.
It's a LOT of movie to digest, but if you're fiending for some Bear Jew, it hits the fucking spot.

Vol. 2 wins because, IMO, really captivating story > really captivating bloodbath.
Not that the storytelling in 1 wasn't superb as well, but there was so much more emotion and such ventured into part 2. Pai Mei, Budd, Paula Schultz, the backstories, the ending, ESTEBAN...oh man.

Quentin Tarantino is fantastic but he absolutely sucks as an actor.

Little known fact, Tarantino wrote the scripts for Natural Born Killers and True Romance.

Honestly can't think of a single movie he's been associated with in some way or form that was bad.

My list would go:
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill Vol.1
Kill Bill Vol.2
Reservoir Dogs

I felt that Jackie Brown and Inglorious Basterds were a little to far from what made his past movies so great.
Those movies literally put me to sleep.

Honestly, any combination of those 4 makes sense. It's like tier lists, it's impossible to be certain, lol.
But I think you're right on the last two. Jackie was good, but it didn't feel like a Tarantino movie at all.

I dig everything but reservoir dogs, I feel that's his worst movie personally. A lot of people rate it above inglorious basterds but I felt basterds as a WAY better movie. Reservoir dogs is just very amateur compared to the rest of his stuff.

Well the film was always going to be about vampires and I think that's Rodriguez for you who likes the slightly more wacky stuff, where as Tarantino has always been fascinated with the darker side of people, which is evident in the first half hour of the film which has nothing to do with Vampires.

I liked DTD, though I heard the sequels were dreadful.

I think reservoir dogs was his break out film.

From Dusk til Dawn is one of my favorite movies. I saw it in the theater at a midnight showing we snuck in a bottle of whiskey. A guy behind us started throwing up when the strippers started killing everyone and shit. George Clooney was so good in that movie.

As for the other QT movies I'd rank:
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Kill Bill 1
Jackie Brown
Kill Bill 2
Inglorious Basterds

Sin City and Desperado are also badass. His next movie Django Unchained looks good too.

The idea of Vampires in the movie wasn't the thing that left a sour taste in my mouth; it was the corny special effects and the silly ways they had the characters interact with them that nailed the pin in the coffin.

It wasn't terrible but I couldn't take the movie seriously anymore.

As far as vampire films go, it's not bad I mean the only decent vampire films i've seen was DTD, Lost Boys and 30 Days of Night. Cant stand all that Twilight shit.

Shame Tarantino fell out with Oliver Stone while making NBK because that film rules and I felt they could have made some more good movies. Stone especially would have been very good on Inglorious Basterds, as good as that film already was.
