this entire tournament is a joke and MLG are nothing but lying thieves... Anyone that is thinking about paying the $20 for the HD stream, DON"T,...they say its AD-FREE but its NOT, THERE ARE ADS ON THE AD FREE HD STREAM

It disgusts me that the MK scene is supporting this thing at all... is everyone really so hard up for money that they'll whore themselves out to a bunch liars for it? Anyone that says good things about MLG is a fraud in my book. Don't Lie to my face just because they are giving you money. That is pathetic

Once again I don't think anyone cares about the decision you made. People are getting paid A LOT of money to play the game they love today, I'm sure you're streaming experience is the last thing on there mind. ;)

Yeah well, don't come crying to me when MLG drops MK because NO ONE IS WATCHING THE STREAM ... how do you think MLG is getting this prize money? STREAM VIEWS...which will be ZERO because of the shit tournament they ran. The regular fighting game tournaments will drop MK, and it will have no tournament place... All because of ONE payday... you people need to think about the big picture and how much this thing is going to hurt the game... What good will any of these guys winning this prize money do when 6 months from now the game is DEAD

Haha yeah right. Not even if the tourney was 1 round 1 match could you pull a 64 man tourney in 4 hours.

Um this is really incorrect. The advertisers and sponsors are what generate MLG's revenue for the prize money as well as the tournament entry fees themselves. Stream viewership has nothing to do with it.

They should have cut screen commercials like every major sportscast, the amount of advertising is too much atm. They have advertising behind the casters and in between every game. But hey, that's the prize you have to pay for that amount of prize money/production values.
I worked in the television bussiness and all the decorations, camerawork, venue, paid workers, etc. cost big, big bucks (all things that are volunteered in 'grassroots' tournaments). These bucks get invested by sponsors and they want 'value' for their money (aka ad time). The only problem I have, is the HD stream, wich could be made a lot better by including interviews and more footage.
