So if the bracket is set up right there can be 4 VSM guys spread out so that they don't meet until top 4 (in winners) if they all win. Ok that's not too bad. I had this bad feeling that all the good fights would happen early and the top 8 would be weird.

Lol nevermine. 256 bracket. I have no clue now I expect a lot of byes. But the bigger the bracket the less chance that VSM players will play each other early (as well as all regional players). That should be good.

yeah your right i remember if you won 5 times for h3 back in 09 you made it to championship bracket, top 32 which was 256 team bracket

You know, I'm sure everyone is just naming the regular players we all see on streams, but after seeing the name list so far, I wouldn't count anyone out. I mainly say this because I've never seen any of these players and I think the majority the community has not heard of some of those guys. The fact that they made it to MLG means to me that these guys are going there to not be cannon fodder to guys like the VSM crew and the other well known players. I expect at least 4 or 5 surprises that will reveal who some of the new blood to look out for in this game within the coming months will be.

A) Sonya, totally beatable character. Over hyped as shit (still top 5ish but my god is she over hyped)
B) Sektor, CDjr doesn't appear to fit this character. Can't seem him doing anything great with him

i personally think CD and CDjr have a good chance of not making top8, Maxter and REO are looking pretty good though

Maxter is a very smart player with very versatile mains and REO is the best MK player and he mains the best character, always a shoe in. Then you have CD And CDjr, nothing against them as players i just think their mains aren't going to hold up. CDjr won't be the best player of any of his characters at MLG and people seem to have finally figured out Kitana

Reo is a match for pl.. but I think all the haters are underestimating Pl. I see pl in top 8. Unless there is a bracket of death with 3 or 4 top players in one bracket

Pretty sure his character is Kenshi.

And seriously, how many more majors does CD jr have to win before people stop placing REO above him? He can win EVO and MLG, and people will still say REO is gonna win the next major, and REO is the best MK9 player. They're both among the best imo, but I notice jr is never given enough credit despite him ALWAYS coming out on top in tourneys. I mean, you said it yourself. He's NOT the best at any of his respective characters....and yet he still always wins. That says quite a lot.

On a side note, I'm not a VSM fanboy. In fact, I want PL, FOREVER KING, Tyrant, or Curbolicous to make it on top. I'm just pointing out the inevitable based on pattern recognition, honestly. Kind of hoping I'm wrong. =P
