Some of us can really only get some matchup experience online. Although it might not be the best way to practice... it's really all I have except for when I'm at tournaments.

I think people are reading too much into the title. It doesn't mean that these people are the best players to ever grace XBL with their presence, it just means that for those wanting to work on match-ups with a particular character here's some good people who you can practice with. Nothing more, nothing less.

And please leave the online/offline debate out of this. That's not what this thread is for.

Enough derailing. Knightmare246 is the Noob Saibot I was talking about earlier. He is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

I love how I'm not under Noob even though you played my Noob six or seven times and got blown up really badly in every single set. Most of the time it was Noob vs. Mileena, which is a bad matchup for him to boot.

Then again, you also somehow concluded that we "went even" even though you only had a handful of wins in an over an hour, which you only admitted after I called you out for it.

I've fought Smarrgasm a few times and I can vouch that they are good for a competitive match with Rain.

He's about as good as I am, really.

No need to be snide. I'm not trying to call you out or "question your intelligence", just justification on some of your points. I'd actually like it very much for you to go on. That way I know which of those guys I can message on XBL and ask for games and actually have a shot of playing and learning instead of just being ignored or told to fuck off. Sounds like I can catch 16 bit and CD if they're on. Who else? This list is essentially a matchmaking tool, after all, and i'm sure you know most (if not all) of those guys personally enough to say one way or another. Thanks for your input!

See you made a great point in one of your earlier posts in that I'm not going to list people like Perfect Legend because they hardly play online and when they do; it's like spotting a unicorn.

I play Perfect Legend online all the time, actually, he just doesn't play people he doesn't know. He'll only play you if 1) he thinks you're good practice and 2) he has a good connection with you.

I've only played like 2 people with good connection. & I go about judging that by seeing if i can do my b121 b1 NDC 2 f4 Kabal combo, I land it all the time offline. Done it twice, only to those people.

i land it all the time online. IMO i have a great Kabal offline and online.

It's gonna happen when you play a popular character; looks like Reptile and Scorpion may have the most. Kabal has a good chunk, too and I know I'm missing quite a few people I just haven't run into lately.

Also, just note that this list is just good players you'll come across and aren't always doing their own thing. This is what this thread is there to help with. Sure there are some huge names on here, but mainly just to fully represent them and acknowledge that they are indeed there.

However, I will not be including people like Perfect Legend, REO or anyone like that simply because we know they are the headliners of this game; the same goes for Ketchup and Mustard because I've never seen them once online playing with anyone, let alone just their own friends.

Anyway, when I asked PL about it that night, he just told me he wants nothing to do with the NY scene because they constantly shit talk him. He said it was a lose-lose situation, because it'll be drama whether he beats REO or not. Nevermind that: PL told them that he'll donate, he just doesn't want to play anyone for the above reasons.

tl;dr version: PL is fine with supporting charity, but he wouldn't support the NY scene for any sum of money in the world. With the way I've heard some of those guys talk about him, I can't even blame him for that.

Thanks for puttin me on the list man. I appreciate it. We gotta get some games in too btw. I picked up Rain and I need some tips. EDIT: Recommended to add GUTZ n GORE to Sub Zero, COSMIC ECLIPSE to NW. Both are great for those characters
