Hi! Im new here! My boyfriend bought me the game and is trying to get me into it. told me to come here and ask for advice in picking a character. Pleasseee help I have no idea what Im doing haha

Your a girl, and so like most girls, I assume you'd want to use a female character too. Sonya, Mileena, Scarlett, Kitana, Sindel, Jade.


Sonya IMO is the easiest character because of her low kick and her divekick. Mileena is pretty easy to use too.

Characters in this game are capable of tactics and hybrids of tactics.

Do you like going to the enemy, or making the enemy come to you?
Do you like to create space or close it?

That would be Sonya. Pick training, pick her(the blonde girl) and start practicing a few simple strings. You can pause the game, go to move list, and see simple commands like down, forward, X to do a special move. There are also simple combos in there that just require you to press 3 or 4 buttons one after the other. Go practice a little and THEN come back with some questions. We'll go from there.

I bet your some pro player in disguise just trying to make our sorry asses sympathise with ya . On a serious note it looks like you wanna play Sonya (she isn't very easy though). Doesn't matter anyways, just practice and you'll get the hang of it soon and hopefully you'll have fun doing it.
