What Up from an OG Arcade Player + Stick Question

Yo Everyone!

I'm an old dog (I'm 35) arcade player with fond memories of waiting in lines to play MK2 in the arcades and paying dudes a dollar for photocopied moves lists (pre-internet days).

A year or so I saw a teaser vid for MK9, bought a PS3 for the sole purpose of playing it, and here I am.
I am stoked to be a member of TYM and part of the MK community once again.

Here's my question:

I am a true arcade player and cannot play fighting games on a pad. I bought some jank $50 "Arcade Fighter" stick and it was complete garbage. Already wore out. Can you recommend some good Arcade Sticks for MK9? (I'd rather pay $150 than $300 if possible)

The best sticks are the MadCatz TE sticks. MadCatz also sells panels that you can use to get the MK3 layout for buttons. If you can get used to Sanwa sticks and buttons, which I think are way superior to happ, then this is your best bet.

The PDP stick is too far away from the buttons and that thing will make your arms tired. Not to mention trying to lug that thing around to tournaments!
