Calling all Alabama-Shoals Area players

Look for all players from the Quad cities in the shoals area of Northwest Alabama this would included Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield and Tuscumbia

Seeing if anyone on here is from this area me and a friend of mine are looking to get a local tournament scene going if ne one is interested reply here or inbox me

Really looking for some great offline play and to see who's top dog around here

Sounds like fun. Haven't played seriously in years, but it would be cool to get back into the swing of things. Been trying to get back into some Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and SF. Last tourney I did here was the MK one on launch night at Gamestop. Fun stuff, but sadly your right about the scene around here, not alot going on, but we need to change that. :) I know a couple folks that would probably be interested in getting back into things.

Update: A few of us is going to start meeting up at FTW located at 7 Points in Flornce every Wednesday night if you want to join us come on over.

Yeah, you guys come on out. We had a decent crowd there last night around 7-8 people. Here is a link to their Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/pages/For-the-Win-Game-Store/170377896318745. I think we're getting to the point to where we have a good solid group of people there from week to week. We have fight night every Wednesday starting at 7pm. You're welcome to bring whatever controller/arcade stick you want to. We're hoping to build up a good scene around the area, so bring anyone you know that is interested.

Yea just need to get a day off on Wednesday so I can come out I play on 360 dunno if ne one plays on that so my arcade stick would be useless to me right now till I can do a dual console mod

Hey guys, A.R.K. IV is coming up September 17th-18th in Jacksonville, AR! We are expecting ~200 people with games such as SSF4:AE, SF 3S:OE, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Melee, Brawl, BB:CS II, and more! Competitors are coming in from at least 6-7 several states to compete!

Note that our tournament is working on securing sponsorships from well known companies which will each be providing additional prizes and bonus pots for our tournaments. The Traveling Circus has expressed interest as of this time. Also, well-known regional modder DaRabidDuckie will be on hand to provide dual mods (PS3 <-> 360) for fight sticks.

I'd normally respond to replies on this thread, but I'm so busy with Med School that I don't have time (though I may check in once in a while if there's interest). Please try to make it and show your support not only for us, but for the regional MK community as a whole. Thanks guys!

Ehh can't make it out to that dunno if my car would be able to handle that nor do I have the money/time for a trip like that haha

Ah I know Raekw0n from the Marvel community in Alabama is making it out. Thought I'd see if I could get more of you cats to make it =]
