Most of her buttons are pretty short range. Sindel, Havik, Homelander, T-1000, Noob, Ermac etc all have better footsie buttons, imo.

I would also say that all of those characters are likely better than her.

I do think that the Cyrax/Sareena loop should be looked at, but I think it's interesting that the "we want high power levels" crowd is now suddenly going, "no, nerf the top tier."

If she dominated Top 8s, I'd be more on board with seeing her nerfed, but she doesn't. I'm pretty sure that at this point in the game's life, Kung Lao has more Top 8 placings.

Kung Lao has nothing on Cyrax (for obvious reasons) And Lao ain’t the only one in top 8 placings. BTW, I have never seen Lao win a worthwhile tournament. Let alone offline tournaments..

I don’t ask for nerfs, I just point out the obvious. I rather see the entire cast get the same treatment, so I’m for buffs. But he, they can only buff 4 characters so we have to live with that I guess..

Can't get it all for free, that's unbalanced compared to the rest of the characters that can't. The other characters get nothing to compensate the lack of these very strong tools. It would be another story if the game was balanced around it, but it's clearly not. It's a kameo game lol.

If you're saying that Homelander and Sindel can both eat 40/50% damage and throw you in a vortex at the same time, without spending both meter and kameo, that's another problem you just mentioned.

I asked for footage so i can see who Lao is playing against. OnlineCale is a very strong player, probably his skills are what made him win and not K. Lao.

I checked the 2nd place player, KGE Mist latest footage on YT, and see that he lost 3-0 against Cyrax. I don't know how capable these players are against a player like OnlineCale.

I don't play Lao BUT I think yes, b34/b31 into Tremor Ground Pound might be a mix. Also, jump forward into tremor ground pound is a HTB as well. There might be another mix with ending combos with divekick (opponent is splat on the ground) and doing the air metal ball into b3 HTB.

Shhh you just said the quiet part out loud. We can't break NDA. We have to say Lao is godlike so he won't get any changes.


Then once the game is no longer supported we will drop him 10 slots on the tier list to show he really wasn't that good as we thought.


Same thing happened in MK11
