I mean yeah he could've just mean T-1000, but then again we didn't even know that Madam Bo would show up, the video is only for T-1000 who was the only one at the time that we did know is coming. Plus with the job offering at NRS/WB, that's diffidently something that is very possible to happen.
The fact that some people already convinced that the game is done because they want the game to fail so bad is beyond pathetic. I see on the MK Reddit people actually thinking that NRS/WB themselves announced that the game is done despite the fact that it was a leak that it's credibility has been proven false the moment NRS/WB announced Pro Komp 2, plus the leaker running away because "he got to much attention" and also that other leakers got contradictory info. These assholes trying to convince themselves and others that the game is done, again, this is pathetic.
Can't please everyone, but the roster of MK1 is already the 2nd best MK roster ever only behind MK Armageddon. Having not only all the male Ninjas for the first time since MK9 but also at least one representor from every game from original MK1 to Deception in the base roster, plus from MKX and MK11, that is a fantastic roster. So whoever they add, will only make it even better regardless.
Fate was a legit insider, not a regular leaker. He's the reason we knew the roster months before release, we knew the kameos, the story details, and when every other fake leaker was hyping up a mystery final character slot, Fate was the only one tempering expectations by saying that was it. He told us about post release costumes, and even tho he was eventually fed fake info to root him out, the info he gave us seems to still line up
Except that almost right after the leak got out, NRS/WB announce Pro Komp 2 and Fate runs away because the leak "got to much attention". There's no way NRS/WB would announce Pro Komp 2 if they didn't have more content coming to MK1, and we already know that there's more content coming as we got multiple skins coming out, including the MK2 movie skins that will only make it to MK1 around the same time the movie comes around in October. Not to mention that other leakers got contradicting info also, before in comparison to Fate and to each other. And there were a couple of times that Fate was wrong also. Yes it was very rare, but it happened. All things considered, plus once again the fact that he ran away, shows that this leak is wrong.
All of this might be true, but we also know that things change in game dev all the time. While it may have been true at the time, it may not be now. We just don't know.
I'm sure one is. Keep in mind, people love to sensationalize "support" ending, and "dead game." This goes for pretty much every game today, not just Mortal Kombat.
Cyrax and T-1000, if left unchanged, will probably almost always been in a Top 8. Outside of that, I'd say it's anyone's guess, which is a good thing.
I watch something else when she's on the screen with Sareena. DeadlyRebel, on the other hand, I'll watch his Cyrax because he uses Tremor and that shit is fucking amazing to watch.
Yeah if they do announce some sort of ultimate/goty edition of the game in the coming months it will confirm new content is not happening.

A longer support cycle was the plan, but who knows, this may have changed.
