Yes, and what I'm saying is I think it would have been better if he borrowed from different characters so that he wasn't Chameleon 2.0.

Haha, that would be cool. Although his intro and the whole rainbow thing made me think of Thor, the war he teleports. It would be cool if he was some sort of multiversity traveler or something like that.
Maybe he IS a specific version of chameleon that travels the multiverse :p

Found the fucker at last.

These challanges are so scuffed, i think some may even work only if you set it to 1 round for victory in versus match.

My final challange i did was set the round to 1 only and then did 13 sweeps and finished with 1 uppercut and then did a fatality as scorpion.it was a flawless victory agains subzero with subzero kameo

Dont know exactly what the end challange was then since i did both the sweep one and scorp fatal/ animality one as well as others that could complete based on what i did in the past many times, but it was not set to 1 round win.

Funnily enough i got the fight with one of my main teams scorp sektor so i manged to beat his ass relatively easy though it is a tricky fight.

Messed around with floyd in practice mode using the mod, he is mad fun. Heres a 40% combo for 1 bar and 1 kameo using all the ninja moves with cyrax kameo

Smoke was literally 1:1 copy of Scorpion for like 2 games lmao too

They are all copies of each other, pallette swaps lol all of the ninjas are derivatives of Sub/Scorp

No one really. I think it's really cool they did this, i like it, i just think it could've been better.

Its nothing crazy serious like some of you are making it out to be,Its just the fact that chameleon is not really an official charcater exactly, he is the secret fight easter egg character that is the male ninja collective.

His only official appearance ever is the asset dump of mk armageddon in which he had shang tsungs hand to hand stance and all the ninjas special moves( btw that armaggedon desing is on of the sickest ninja designs in an mk game).

Then you have floyd who has shang tsung mk11 normals and all the ninjas special moves. Like why make an new secret character fight and then make him do exactly 1/1 things that an already existing secret chracter has and does in concept. They could have made him copy all tge shaolin monks/ white lotus characters or idk all black dragon characters or copy special forces charcaters and bam you have a cool new secret fight with a new concept with chameleon remaining unique.

And Yeah i know smoke was scorp and reptile secret was scorp etc etc, but that was 30+ years ago on systems with less memory then a sperm cell so lets not use that as a standard.

Either way its a very cool secret and im glad it was implemented, it just feels a bit lame that they did chameleon 2 instead of something different or just do chameleon and have him actually be chameleon that people know and love.

Thethiny made a tool that tracks which challenges you've completed and even gives you a range of challenges to target to find what you're missing. I had 8/10 when I started (already goated because I lost track ages ago). It said I had 6 challenges to try between challenges 30-37.

It also tracks which characters I had used fatalities and animalities with. Turns out I just needed one more character fatality and one more animality, which also let me prepare the character I wanted to fight Floyd with. It worked, and I barely managed to beat him on my last continue.
(honestly got very lucky Floyd took pity on me and decided to stop blocking)

Now that I've fought him I 100% agree with everyone saying this dude needs to be playable; he's so sick. (that ice ball is probably not okay though, lol)

Just feed it your account ID and it should give you all the deets you need. Was suddenly very simple with having an actual direction to follow.
If you're on steam it's easiest to give it the direct link to your community profile page instead of your account name.

I finally got to FLOYD but i did not beat him. the challenges did not seem that difficult with a second controller it was just finding which ones were active.

Unfortunately, my last challenge was the Scorpion one and I play as him but I wouldn't say i main him. anyhow. I died. I really wanted the pink kameos and stage. sigh.

i had to sneak the second controller on PS5 from my nephew which is why i hadn't tried it before. oh well. finding the challenges just take too long. ugh. but i applaud NRS for making Floyd cool and pink and not a cakewalk fighter. Would kind of be nice to have 3 attempts and let us change character/kameo. but it's cool.

I lost to Floyd in my first attempt. For my second attempt I switched to Sareena kameo and it was a lot easier. He likes to press buttons and not block the whole of Sareena’s projectiles. This gives you opportunities to punish with your longest combos.

I just defeated Floyd, so satisfying to beat him and getting the sweet rewards. The new Field stage is gorgeous!

Here's the video of me beating Floyd with my mains, Reptile and Sektor.

Let the battle of the MK1 secret bosses begin! :D

So with challenges like the sweep one do the blocked/whiffed sweeps still count? Same with the taunt challenge do the taunts count if they get interrupted?

So like I popped about 5 or 6 challenges last night but it was getting late. Do I have to start all over again tonight?

There's no time limit. As long as you haven't found Floyd, the challenges are always gonna stay. Just keep going to find challenges you haven't finished until you get him. Only when you find him they are reset if you wanna find him again.

As for the Total Disrespect challenge, AFAIK as long as the taunt animation plays out long enough, it counts. And as for the Klean Sweep one, I believe it should only be on hit. But if you're not sure, you can always just set up a free 2-player match online with another controller, just to be sure if you have the challenge and don't wanna get any confusion

i found Floyd for a second time and beat him on my third try! I was wearing my Christmas Kitana outfit with the Sindel Announcer and was able to record it if anyone wants to watch. The stage is such a pretty design! I really wish a version of him was playable with the Pink/White Ninja outfit and the Rainbow Wall. With a second controller it's pretty easy. just the mundane process of going through each challenge to see which one is active then ensuring you get to fight him with a character you are good with. I do think the stage and rewards are worth it though, and the fight is fun and dynamic.

if i'm not mistaken...the stage tho in KOH or doesn't appear in ranked. I also think if you do kasual then you have to be Player one. the pink and blue sub skin is really cool IMO. he seems to match or go with all the kitana and khaos skins for characters. IMO they need more of this. the pink varients for the skins can still be awesome and not cater to LGBT or DEI or make a statement. I mean they can even make a sparkly pink ghostface skin. and it would be awesome looking.
