Until someone shows the full fight trigger animation I am going to believe this is only accessible through mods.

Floyd is in the game, is real, etc. but these conditions are so unclear and afaik no one but PC folk have access.

I know it is just MK11 shang strings with lots of ninja powers, but I get hella mad seeing them put someone so absurdly fun looking to play in the game and locking it behind NPC jail. Best thing is that, even with kameos, the damage is nothing absurd (Nitara 1 bar combos do more than Floy 2 bar combos from GuiExceptional - who is a pro player of the likes of KillerXinok, if not even better).

Dont get this, if they wanted to do something new and have a secret pink ninja fight, why not make it something actually new then?

They took chameleon slapped on a pink palette and called him floyd. Lol why not just call him chameleon then with the klassic teal color. Why make chameleon secret fight and then give him a worse name and a worse color palette then he had in the past, only nrs knows the answer.

But ohh well, secrets and easter eggs were always a staple in mk games so its nice to see it implemented. The games getting closer and closer to what it should have been at launch, they will get there eventually i guess.

Sure thats true but in this case with floyd he is not lets say li mei and kung lao, indicating the pattern you outlined above witht the possibility of becoming a full unique charcater like the pallate swaps in the og games

With floyed he just takes an already existing secret/joke character thats the combination of all the ninjas in chameleon.

Chameleon already has a fan base and is liked and is tought to be a cool secret. Which is why my point is, why not just call it chameleon then lol when thats what it is down to the tee.

Floyd could have been his own thing instead of a chameleon rip off with am intro thats very fitting for chameleon also. Its not a big deal but still its kinda lame.

yup this was after my post, so my guess right now is that you have to land a certain amount of floyds. I think you have to finish with one of these challenges that ends at the end of a round after you get X amount of challenges ( 9 or 10? idk)

Been in a party with people trying to figure it out for HOURS, going through threads, livestreams and so on and none of us got the fight to pop.
My guess is that while the requirements are similiar they are randomized among every account and require something extra to be done for it to trigger floyd notiffication ex: 5 s1's lol.

Seriously, I do not know why anyone would winge or complain about Floyd – he is just meant to be some light hearted fun. A secret character and a throwback to the past is what most people have been asking on here for YEARS. The fact that you get something out of it is a bonus!

As for him being Chamelon like... who gives a crap?!? There is nothing canon about him. He is just meant to be something exciting for fans and a bit of a blast from the past, yet it's getting complained about.

The great thing is, it will probably result in a fun new (unique) character, like it has with every other secret palate swap.

It is weird that NRS literally does something the bulk of people have been asking for, and we get a bunch of disgruntled people. Can they do anything right?!?

Did the 400+ damage combo with scorp sub kameo in like all rounds and it didnt get the floyd klue. Did the 5 hits combo with sub scorp nothing showed up, didnt jump nothing showed up lol. Did the daily chsllqnge in tot agaim no notification.

Only klue that worked for me was animality as scorpion.

Anyone manage to get the kloues to work and fight him, any tips appriciated.

My understanding is that every player is assigned a random order in which the clues must be obtained. I've had some work while others don't, so everyone is essentially on different seeds.
Explains the inconsistency of results.

I think Floyd is just Chameleon with a different name. Ed probably had to sneak in a Pink Floyd reference into the game somehow.

He's just a secret character. Secret characters always borrow from established characters before becoming real characters because the devs make them for fun out of scraps.
