Will the One Being be a boss in future mortal Kombat games?

I’m aware that the one being is when all the realms like earthrealm, outworld, edenia, neatherrealm, orderrealm aka Seido and Chaosrealm merge the denizens except for elder gods become part of one being. So will we see a future mortal Kombat game where the one being is a boss and you play as an elder god to defeat the one being and split his consciousness into realms?

Probably not. The one being might be the final antagonist of a future game, but he would not be a humanoid boss character you can fight - he is reality trying to merge it's fragments back together. Shao Kahn was trying to merge realms because the One Being was subconsciously acting through him, in an effort to become whole again. Onaga, after his ressurection, was also being manipulated by the One Being in the exact same way - though, before he was deposed by Shao Kahn, the lore says he actually resisted the influence of the One Being for millenia. Shinnok, in a way, might also have been a puppet to the One Being, with him wanting to destroy all the Elder Gods (the ones who separated the One Being in the first place). So there's that, Shao Kahn, Onaga and Shinnok are all "avatars" or "puppets" of him that we fight throughout the series, even though they think they are acting purely out of their own desires.

I hope not. We need something unattainable in this lore. Also, knowing that a character like Cetrion was capable of such a feat makes me cringe. Shows how such mighty and powerful beings as elder gods can be written off as whstever Cetrion was. So no, I hope not.

True. Also the one being had a humanoid body as light silloette in mortal Kombat battle of the realms taking over Shinnok’s body once Shinnok got all the kamidogus.

I thought it was very interesting in Battle of the Realms (the second MK animated movie) where a form of the One Being showed up at the end as a big bad monster and he looked a lot like MKX's Corrupted Shinnok. I wonder if some of that story was cut from MKX

I agree it was interesting to see Liu Kang in his dragon form defeat One Being merged with Shinnok in Corrupt Shinnok form at Mortal Kombat Battle Of Realms.

having one being as a final boss would be a huge fuck you to the lore, and one of the stupidiest decisions in a while.

So the perfect return of kung jin story. Got it.
A good story is a grounded one.
Doesn't necessary need to be about shipping characters left and right as we have now, we're fighting to death for the fate of the world, no one gives a flying fuck if Tanya is in love with mileena, Sektor with Noob Saibot, and doesn't need to always revolve around the next big bad which it's the formula they have been using.

Oh, we killed shao kahn, who are we going for next? Shinnok it's a nice idea!
We've killed shinnok, which is an elder god, what are we going for next? we ran out of big bads.
Adds Shinnok's mother and Shinnok's sister in the mix, kill all other elder gods.

We killed Shinnok's mum, what are we gonna do next?
Lets make havik a titan level threat by killing another knronika from another timeline and kill him

So Liu Kang is into kitana since 1993 right? Yeah!
How about we ship, cage and Sonya because the movies did? That's a nice reference.
Cool, now lets ship, Jackie and Takeda because they're both sons of Jax and Kenshi! Oh, you're into something Dom
Wait for it... now lets ship Mileena with Reiko first, then scratch this idea all together, and ship her with Tanya, while also ship jade with this new dude kotal, and lets not forget to remind everyone that Kung Lao is thirsty, and with MK1, lets make Sektor a female and Ship her with Sub-Zero.
(Sareena in the background seeing these stupid ideas happening, somehow will going to get shipped with Hanzo in next MK game because Kuai Liang is now with Harumi)

Like WTF? Duuuude, make a fucking Sims game MK edition already.
