Man I'd kill to get some matches in with those dudes... So much to learn! Haven't been to a tourny yet, my execution needs more work before I spend the gas money... Nothin quite like a wiffed spear combo drop or accidental negative edge tele to tell you you need to sharpen up your game... haha!

haha, Bro, No one is gonna blow you up at casuals for losing. :p Just get your self out there and play. THAT will sharpen your skills as well as help your nerves. How do you think I felt sitting down at House of Goons next to Tom Brady, picking Sub Zero as my character? But I eventually got over it, and that's when the learning begins.

Good point. Online really only does so much in terms of learning... And sifting through the rage quitters, 12 year olds, and "OMFG SCORPIONS A NOOOOB CHAR [ban incoming]!" trolls, gets old fast... Fuck it... Next tourny in the Chicago/rockford area I'll go throw down...

But seriously, I played one of the best Kung Lao's in the US for the last couple of months and feel that I've gone leaps and bounds. I don't know about you Vagrant, but this stuff sounds like some destiny in the works.
