I agree to an extent. While I still enjoy her Mileena, Karen Strassman's Mileena was utter perfection and perfectly embodied that crucial balance of sexuality and savagery; Kari seems to focus solely on the latter, which is a shame as she can totally pull off both. Yes! I think it's absurd that it hasn't been brought back in some capacity since MK9. Yeah, it's sexualized, but so was MK11 Sindel and for good reason: it makes sense (for both characters). Whale tail Sonya, on the other hand...

I’ll always despise the MK9 female character costumes, they felt insanely lazy and I hate sex appeal just for the sake of sex appeal. HOWEVER; Mileena has always made actual sense! She’s seductive and sexual to distract from her hideous face, it’s in her character. Id definitely be down to see this design come back
