Finally saw OSU 16-Bit vs. Perfect Legend

With the exception of the match points for PL, that had to be one of my favorite MK fights I've ever seen. Some of the blocking and pacing by both players was really cool to see.

yep, I was watching too .... very cool match, PL is good in "reading" reactions, his teleports , sometimes, is kinda hard to foresee.

Hum, I don't know, man .... I'm pretty sure Osu have played enough matches against others Raiden players, and know what might come from the thunder god .....

I thought he did very well but got crossed up too many times. I know nothing about Kitana, but does d+1 xx fan lift not work vs cross up JPs?

D1 at the. Least lowers her hitbox to avoid jip but I don't know about linking to fan lift.

Yeah I play PL online from time to time. I had played his Raiden. The crazy thing is that people talk about Raiden being no big deal offline but ridiculous in lag. The truth for PL is he's much better offline where he can take advantage of his godlike reactions.

I did get blown up by cross ups. I knew it as I was playing too and just didn't adjust. PL was in my head. Had me scared to do anything but block.

Nice stuff, and it's awesome you have played him , and still does online, because if both of you meet each other in EVO finals, you guys gonna have already a very good amount of experience playing each other.

Hey btw, maybe it was the stream, but is the game supposed to feel as if everything stops when Raiden does his teleport? I don't know why, but everytime Perfect Legend did the teleport, it just seemed like the game stuttered or stopped for that split second.

That's just the thing, you gotta get over that fear and then you'll realize PL does the same thing until you do something about it. Stop wiffing moves during the neutral frames and make him respect the fact that he can't get away with that over and over. The most I saw for punishment was d1 cutter.
