Can't go Online,please help.

Every day or two i get "the netowkr connection to your system has been lost.make sure your ethernet cables and router are connected properly."

my connection is just fine,i can go online on any other game.

it's not the server because i've seen friends playing online while i can't.

help?

The same thing happens to me very very often.

Try doing some port forwarding(preferably put your PS3 on DMZ if your router allows it).

MK9's online is THAT bad.

Ya, I get that every now and then. I chalk it up to the servers not knowing what the heck is going on.

that happened to me alot when i first got my ps3 and my isp found that for some reason the ps3 would quit reconizing the dynamic ip address they did something on their end and i havnt had the problem ever since and that was around 5 months ago. dont know if this is the same thing but i thought i would post exp with that problem hope it helps

But could you log on PSN and play other games online?

Here's a trick I learned on xbox. Press start without signing in a profile (continue without saving), then attempt to sign in to xboxlive or psnmulti. Something really funky about the main start up. Another trick I've used is signing in on a different xbox acct. (Have 2 associated with particular console)

Mine was knocking me off PSN as well but it was alwasy a random thing sometimes I couldnt play the game and then sometimes it would just boot me off PSN for awhile. It got really bad so I called Sony and they said it was an ISP problem.
