Tag towers way too hard

MKF30

Fujin and Ermac for MK 11
Some are way harder than others but the hardest I've done was one of Cetrion's I have it on my channel near to impossible as there's like 5 different things you're fighting against, but I beat it getting the computer in a loop. Between that insane level of difficulty and managing to beat it I got 4th worldwide on xbox on that one. Took me about like 20 shots or so.

They can be beat without relying on modifiers, augments etc but they definitely help vs easier ones but not much honestly not against this kind of difficulty. I beat this did most of the work here as you'll see without modifiers, I don't recommend doing it this way though. Go to @3:19 in for gameplay.

Was doing the Skarlet/Sonya/Noob one yesterday.

Skarlet and Sonya were easy. However, Noob was an absolute rage-inducing cheap turd of MK2-level exploitation. Played it around 20 times and closest I got was critical after managing to play second to an excellent Baraka player who went super defensive. However Noob just owned me, broke through my blocks, juggled me, could barely get a hit in. Most of my tag players wouldn't tag me in, they'd just fight till they died, which was annoying in itself.

I eventually chose to just play Solo Tag, I figured I'd at least I'd ensure I got my two fatal blows and wouldn't be relying on someone to tag me in without stupidly dying first. Would be able to get the best of my 'four lives' by effectively tagging myself in and out, rather than the two lives afforded by a selfish online tag partner who never tags until they're dead.

First attempt I got thrashed. Second attempt I got thrashed.

Third attempt... Noob shut down completely. If it hadn't been for a portal rocket I'd have got a flawless victory. Felt a shallow win, even though he had been so unbelievably cheap he'd raged me for an hour. Still, got that Skarlet skin I wanted at last. The AI literally switched off, was like playing an AI local battle on 'very easy'.

I've noticed in my single-player plays before, the game seems to have a charitable algorithm built in that if you've failed enough in single player it just eventually gives you a massive handicap and effectively lets you win after enough attempts.

Considering I just wanted the gear and really don't care about proving myself... I'm fine with that though haha.

On the noob one I got paired up with someone who kept backdashing causing noob to teleport, so I copied him, easy kill

Can you actually use konsumables on those tag towers? I've been seeing people use shield but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get them! It doesn't let you pick them before the fight starts as other towers. Am I being blind here? Halp

There is an augment that gives u armor at the start of the round and regens armor charges overtime.

I recommend augments which enhance your physical attacks, reduce damage from physical attacks, allow you to perform krushing blows without any requirements (you have to sacrifice your Fatal Blow for the entire match though), X% more dmg in Krushing Blows, give you X% chance to do a 'mighty blow' (more dmg), and generally augments which improve the dmg your character causes.

Also, I've seen many players who tag out when they're near death. There is zero benefit in this. The sooner you tag out, the less health you have to replenish once you're benched and the better for you once you're tagged in once more.

I miss you baby. So much. I never told you how I felt... and now it's too late.

And realising Cher's wearing Sheeva's MK3 outfit just makes it hurt all the more :(
