Why sonya has to be so good at zoning I mean her rings are insanely stupid and has high damage combos and 50:50 beast with good kbs as well
Sonya players just land a combo and then go full screen and spam those rings yeah I know they're high but if she spends the bar the second hit /block will push you full screen again
The second thing is Johnny cage
Yeah he has a meta and he's safe and everything but with zero kbs
I mean he has some but they are just stupid
The only practical ones are his nutpunch and his shades the rest are just useless and
He has no throw KB
I mean it's enough that he has no overheads and I have to rely completely on whiff punishing but I have to play clean without kbs too ? Some characters can win almost the whole match just with kbs if they played it right

I don't have a problem with Cage. I do have a problem with people downplaying him like this. It's quite obvious Johnny is the kind of character who doesn't even need mids or KBs and he still does well at the very top.

It's not me having a problem beating Johnny. It's obvious it's actually you who has a problem winning AS Johnny.

I played Show Stopper way before 3rd variations were released. Back when he was considered to be low-mid tier for no reason. Same happened with Cassie, Kollector, Jax, Lao, even Liu Kang. All these suddenly shot up when people learnt what they have and how to use them. But now you come here and try to go the other way again even though nothing has changed.

And yes I do think Cage is easy to play. Very easy.
