Teleports 50:50

Is having a 50:50 teleports from anywhere in the screen fair to anybody ? Like lui Kang and kung lao
I mean they can literally do it almost instantly specially kung lao who can even delay it
It's not fair and it's crazy fast
I mean I'm a cage player and I get people just spamming and it's really annoying
If anybody has a solution for it

You can d1 into full combo kung lao out of his teleport regardless of the option he chooses it‘s not hard to react to it. As for other characters yeah you have to kinda expect them. Most of them are punishable though if you make the right read

I know that option but it needs timing , and lao can actually delay it if he meter burn so that's a free kb and a 50:50

You‘re not stuck in 50 frames of recovery when whiffing a d1 so even if he’s delaying this shouldn‘t be a problem if he’s not getting you in the sweet spot of the Few recovery frames you have

@Yousef What about Liu's teleport? You have almost a whole second before Liu can press a button and there is NO 50/50.

I'm pretty sure you can jump forward against both. Definitely against Lao but not sure against Liu. Maybe the overhead hits if your timing is late. I haven't labbed it but I've definitely done it in a match.

Jumping is a fat deuce in the mouth of a teleport.

You can just walk or dash forward against Lao and his tele will whiff.

There are like 2-3 ways to blow it up.

You can definitely blow up every option he has in wu shi legend with a neutral jump, I don‘t know about forward jump. The tele in dragons breath is easy to blow up just with a jab

Neutral jump against Liu's teleport, makes all his options whiff and you can punish

React to Lao's teleport with d1, juggle combo if it lands. If he MB's the teleport you can just forward dash after your d1 whiffs and you'll be out of reach for any of his teleport options, and you can whiff punish it then

Lao’s teleport mix risks being AAed for a 7% overhead or risking a d2KB punish for a 9% grab. And the startup is not good at all. Like C’mon, man.
