London UK casuals every week at Gamerbase

I move back to London on Thursday, this is fucking fate I swear! I'll try and go every week although if not I will prioritise weeks when the best players are there. It will also be nice to play MK with people that don't take the piss out of my British accent :)

Depending on when trains leave London in the morning me and Mustard will have to decide when to leave for the train back to Norwich.

If theres a train that will get us back before 9:30 it wont be a problem and we can stay for the whole session. If not then we'll have to go early. We have an important 9:30 lecture every friday morning.

I would recommend also using the the UK matchmaking forums for further discussion. Regardless, I'm leaving that up to you guys. :)

literally the same day you told ryan bout this was the day we booked our train tickets for wso on the 31st lol, we're gonna be down for the 2nd feb, gonna be an expensive week, but worth it. :)

you all booked for cannes yet?

Mustard-LK4D4 Do you guys know much of trains to get back to norwich before 9am friday morning? I would be up for this every couple of weeks depending on the trains and travel.

This is REALLY cool. I have a group of friends with whom I travel to london every now and then. I'll make sure to stop by when we do next time!

This is also a really good idea for media shops such as HMV. The Fame in Amsterdam had to move because of too less profit. Something like this might have prohibited that from happening. Let other's take the example!

Do they definitely sell converters for PS3 to 360 at Gamerbase? I'm trying to convince a mate to come down and would be a shame for him to come all that way to not be able to play.

Dayyyummmm! Finally something on the regular in London so that's great news. It would be a great way to level up and hopefully meet some of you guys (especially Ketchup since I plan on levelling up my Sektor :).) On a side note, doesn't F0xy live somewhere in London?

Yeah also I'd like to know whether you can definitely convert ps3 to x box 360 coz i sure as hell aint playing on that retarded fat controller :p

Every Thursday in Central London, you will be able to have offline casuals and maybe a weekly tournament the same evening (depending on the turnout). This will go alongside the weekly tournament for UMVC3 and will take place in the 18+ room in Gamerbase. A gaming center inside HMV.

If you're looking to get a train/bus down i highly recommend Booking your tickets a few weeks in advance so it doesn't cost you very much to travel, for this reason Mustard and I will NOT be attending the one this coming week but WILL be attending the week after.

Message me for details, hope to see some of you guys down there.

This is an excellent chance for the UK scene to get back on it's feet!

So you guys WILL be able to MK9 there, correct? With it being an M rated game and all or just no stream?

It won't be streamed (probably,) but since we'll be on UK time anyway it doesn't matter so much from an international perspective.

(Besides, that's why Youtube was invented)
