No knock to anybody, but the only people willing to play me often are players worse than me. People here seem to either sit on a mountain of ego or dislike letting new people into their circles. People want to be leveled up, not help level up, I guess.

This tournament is arbitrary, which when I learned that, it made the league an arbitrary seeding for an arbitrary tournament. No prize? I was cool with. No heated rivalries or hype? I kinda could live with.. People just ghosting? Gotta check TYM all day for people who don’t give a shit when I post that I’m on for games? People just blaming losing on things instead of talking about MUs and gameplans and tech? No recap or discussion of matches? Only F O U R good players?

It's really weird that you expect (or expected) an online league to be anything other than an online league.

There are plenty of other places on this site to discuss match-ups and stuff. Not saying that it's out of place here, but it's strange for anyone to EXPECT it to be.

In most competitions people learn by participating in the competition. and even then, the onus is on the competitor to seek improvement after. We have some players that played casually or was just here because they liked them some MK, and that's okay.

I haven't "leveled up" in my time here, and that's entirely on me. I won't make excuses and blame "cliques" and "people's egos" though, whatever that's supposed to mean anyway.

This is a statement from someone that i'd enjoy spending time and learning the game with. Doesn't strike me as being and edgy dick at all.

Where you at dog? FLying out tomorrow, got a social friday, job is making me take work with me during this, and i'm not sure if the hurricane is going to throw a wrench in my return flight.
