And Jax should struggle more than Jacqui to get in, since he has (several) full screen options. And if those aren't working, he's got some of the best stagger pressure in the game, not to mention throw loops, all while staying mostly safe.

There's also a reason there are like zero placing top 16 or better in tournaments offline. He's an online fraud character. His pressure becomes nutso online.

But yeah, sorry for the thread hijacking guys. Go back to the tourney discussion lol. I just get heated (heh heh) when ppl say jax is this crazy top character. He really isn't.

I totally could’ve just quit responding to this all together. Maybe that would have been more convenient? Oblige me, kind obliger. It’s not purely frustration, but just my own personal time management.

No knock to anybody, but the only people willing to play me often are players worse than me. People here seem to either sit on a mountain of ego or dislike letting new people into their circles. People want to be leveled up, not help level up, I guess.

This tournament is arbitrary, which when I learned that, it made the league an arbitrary seeding for an arbitrary tournament. No prize? I was cool with. No heated rivalries or hype? I kinda could live with.. People just ghosting? Gotta check TYM all day for people who don’t give a shit when I post that I’m on for games? People just blaming losing on things instead of talking about MUs and gameplans and tech? No recap or discussion of matches? Only F O U R good players?

How about we implement a discord to encourage more on the side of communication along with helping others level up? I was originally against it because I don't want to draw traffic away from the site or forum, but if it helps for those reasons that you just pointed out, maybe it could make sense.

And I wouldn't say the league or tourney is arbitrary, you're not going to get worse by playing in it. Lol
Not to mention I've put the money up for trophies, gift cards, and was adding some more gradually.

Let's play today? I've been really busy with team related things as we're rebranding away from being a "clan" and more of a "team" and trying to do training and streaming and such.

I don't claim to be good, so I'm probably worse than you, but I'm willing to play.

Damn yo I fucking decide to check out the thread for like the first time today and ppl out here tryna fucking say Jax is top 5 smh. His tool kit screams top 5 sure, but fucking dickheads forget that tier lists are BASED ON MATCHUPS not fucking toolkits and Jax's matchup chart is not even fucking top 10 cuz if that was the case Black Canary would have been top 5 in I2 and post patch Aquaman would be mid tier at least but wasn't and Jade players would actually be right abt her being like fucking bottom 5 but she isn't. Jax struggles mightily against anyone who outranges him or has rlly good zoning which is probably a third of the cast tbh

Anyways with regards to the whole tourney and league occasionally being a shitshow, @Dreamcatcher u should update the OP with everyone that has joined recently's psn tag cuz it would make things a little easier with getting matches in. And @Professor Oak himself has ranting abt only mostly ppl who are worse than him who actually want to get games in and level up (to be fair they need it the most) and I used to be guilty of being a "FT10 only bruh" kinda guy back in MKX and I2 for a good bit if I was only winning kinda shit or it super close tho I've mostly moved past it. I mean Oak bodies me more often than not but at least I'm trying to get smt out of it at the end of the day.

Finally the whole thing regarding ppl bitching abt characters and what not instead of labbing a MU and what not is something most of the community has been guilty of to some extent myself included, hell I've said it before that if anyone wanted to get Jax MU grinded out I'm open to it. But like when it comes to making conclusions abt character x being top 5 or whatever, actually fucking know the matchups for that character before making a conclusion like that. I'm done ranting I'm just fucking tired man

Also in regards to the Liu bitching, that's how this goes. I remember when people were storming the Cassie thread to tell us we're a bunch of scrubs getting carried by her (and hey maybe it was true I'm still a scrub), but that's how people are. It sucks when it's your main and it's frustrating as hell. Some people joke about it, but honestly, Liu is a bit insane. But it's fine, it's how it is in competitive games. Chars get nerfed, new top tiers appear.

It's how it be.

Wtf are you talking about? I never complain about Liu... I literally argue against people saying he's the best character in the game. And credit your Liu and playing you showing what he can and can't do as the reason I think that way.

I can post actual posts from here on tym and/or twitter if you really want me to.

You've leveled up a lot and I applaud you for that. I haven't because I'm not a labber and that's on me, but I think you're a bit out in left field here my dude.
