PSA: Maskless Kitana and Kabal in the Premium Shop for the Next 24 Hours

I know that some of you are still trying to get these from the shrine. I got Kabal few weeks ago but never got maskless Kitana. Well they are both in the Premium Shop if you don't want to gamble and bother with the shrine. You have little less than 24 hours to get them. They are 300 crystals each.

Out of curiosity, have you been spending your Time Krystals a lot? I have almost 4000 of those things saved up, as I've only ever bought two things.

I bought a lot of skins in the beginning, I should`ve saved them for gears instead. I just hope that they don't put up Skarlet's maskless gear tomorrow after I spend my krystals today lol, cause that's the one I want badly.

I got maskless Skarlet on my 10th try with shrine. I was so happy, lol.
You missed her tower? It was a reward in her tower few weeks ago, with Brutality too.

I actually feel this way for real. I have never liked the character, in any game, ever. No matter how good the character is, I personally have always thought Kabal is a "crap character" and would not miss him if he vanished from the franchise at all.

I don't feel this way about many characters from the klassic roster, but he's certainly one.

Totally agree. I've never liked him either. For me it's his asthetics, his whole look. (weapons/masks/everything) I just don't like it.

@C-Sword I've noticed that to, the Shrine does give me lots of Kano and D'Vorah stuff. Clearly its trying to "buff" the low tier.

@STB Sgt Reed Yeah, it's everything about him. I think the character is just lame as (insert appropriate expletive). I'm okay with the original game's roster, some fantastic characters there. I think the Mortal Kombat II roster is the best of the klassics. It added in amazing new characters that fit the franchise and lore, and put the lesser characters from the first game where they should have been.

Mortal Kombat 3 was a mixed bag. A big tone-shift, but I liked the Cyber ninjas. Kabal was junk, as was Stryker. I found it funny that they were partners in Mortal Kombat (2011) for this reason. Sonya was actually made super cool in this game, and I no longer thought she was "meh." I was lukewarm on Sindel, Nightwolf, and Sheeva. Interesting concepts that had potential, but needed further development.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, of course, added some fantastic fan favourites back.

So yeah, I guess Kabal and Stryker. Please never come back.

Since release I've unlocked a decent amount of skins and gear. All I want now are Kahn's Master of the Lower Mines skin, Kitana's Edenian Blue skin and Liu's Young Justice skin (all three supposedly found in the Krypt) but they seem impossible to get and I have yet to see a single player that has them.

It's pretty frustrating cause these are sort of the main skins for these characters. We're over three months into the game and there's still no sign of them.

these skins are impossible to get at the moment .... people already datamined MK11 and discovered that these are not in the game ..... probably, only will be in future patches .... or some krypt expasion, if they release one

@NRF CharlieMurphy Mortal Kombat 3 /Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 are my least fav of the original trilogy, but it's definitely proper klassic. Same overall style (2D), conclusion of the current story arc, etc.

Mortal Kombat (2011) is often cited as the "ideal" roster of the modern games, and it's essentially the roster of these three klassic games. Well, and Freddy... ugh, guest characters.

yep, the MK3 Kabal, the original one, is much more menacing and bad to the bone, hehe .... and his scary burnt face is supposed to freak people out, not this "light heart" PG-13 shit they did on him for MK11 .... :p
