*TOURNEY SEASON 3 - TEAM BATTLES* TYM League (PSN)

Great set against my opponent. I should have counter pick for the second match. Oh wait, what am I talking about ? We did not even play the set and I lost. And not even a single PSN message to remind me that my opponent finally played his previous set and I've been waiting for it since i played against Circus, so 4 days ago and my TYM alerts did not warn me about the mention in that post.

Good luck to the remaining players

Yikes. I totally get the frustration but I tagged you more than once to try and get ahold of you. I can't possibly send messages on here and on PSN to all the players, that's a big excessive. I did post this a few times as well:

(including Loser bracket for that round)
Round 1 Mon & Tues July 22-23
Round 2 Wed & Thurs July 24-25
Round 3 Fri July 26
Round 4 and Quarterfinals Sat July 27
Semifinals/Loser Finals/Grand Finals Sun (w/streaming) July 28

If you can't play in your loser bracket because you don't have your matchup, you won't be penalized. You will be given more time to play since your opponent isn't decided yet.

I was trying to think about seeing if doing a Flawless Block on the boulder would help prevent the Geyser frame trap. I see that's the case, thanks for the info.

Yet I had no alerts in my TYM feed. I checked yesterday and the matches of my opponent weren't complete yet, while mine were completed 4 days ago. Yes it's frustrating because I wanted to play this tourney and a "I'm here before my opponent" is enough for my opponent to win a set and me to lose by forfeit. Too bad I guess.

May the best (or the fastest to check in) player win this tournament.

PS : Don't take it personally, I'm just salty to be disqualified from the tourney like that :D

I'm sorry man. The plan is to have these league tourneys once a month about this same time. So if anything, we can all adapt with what way works best so everyone that wants to play can definitely take part. :)

By the way, I just started playing his 2nd variation. It's hilarious watching people freak out thinking they're going to get hit by it, then you cancel it, and hit them with it anyway. LMAO

I can promise you that it's much better than you probably think it is. He loses raw acid, but he still has it off amp slide for his setups. Combine that with the Cattle Toss (which you can tick from F3) and it's pretty sweet. It's really fun even though the execution is less forgiving than 52KPU.

edit: Here's a somewhat accurate analogy... this variation is like if Kano was a cowboy. There's a lot of that yolo shit with the TNT and command grab, but also a level of precision.

It does sound like it would play more like the version of Erron that I played in MKX.
