Patch - bare minimum?

I know the forthcoming patch has been discussed to death, but i've never turned down beating a dead horse. (it doesn't care... it's dead!)

I think the more time passes the more rabid the fan-base gets.

At this point, what things need to be included/addressed in the patch at the very least to hold you over?

.... they mostly come at night. Mostly.
words of wisdom .... by now, it's necessary to address:

*hitbox fixes
*overall balancing on characters (nerfs and buffs to come up)
*fix online (desyncs, option to refuse crap WiFi , etc)
*fix the god damn pc version that still has lots of bugs and glitches
*that crap stupid bullshit of cheating by "cable plug off that give no defeat" must go !

and the list goes on ..... waiting for more suggestions from the TYM fellows, hehe :p

Fixing the hitboxes to make them more consistent is an absolute must for me. If that isn't sufficiently addressed in this first patch, I may drop the game entirely.

Beyond that, I'd also like to see them tone down (not gut) the top tiers while also lifting up some of the bottom tiers.

Other things like more balanced KBs, and Fatal Blows going away if blocked/whiffed would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath for this first patch. Hopefully, we see changes like that by the end of the year.

And let us decline WiFi in Ranked, ffs.

Also delete Erron Black.

While they are at it, they definitely need to make a massive overhaul on how blockstuns work or should have worked, it seems NRS went from having massive blockstuns from not having it at all, i'm actually on a verge of making a thread explaining this and why its important for balancing and i'm not sure if i have a time to make a proper video about it.

a delete for the konsumables inventory screen
how about a number of heads collected counter
frost's fatalities could actually work as listed maybe
in fact, maybe just fix anything of frosts

  • More decline options for online.
  • Improved Krushing Blow requirements for some characters like Johnny Cage and Shao Kahn.
  • Nerfs for Sonya, Geras, Erron, etc.
  • Buffs for Kotal, Kollector, etc.
  • Minor framedata adjustments for Jacqui, Scorpion, etc.
  • Buff wake-ups.
  • Nerf Fatal Blows.
  • Third variation for every character, or make Customs competitively legal.
  • Next DLC character (Nightwolf?).
  • More quality-of-life adjustments for single player.
  • More ways to earn rewards via online multiplayer.
  • Bug fixes, of course.

Oddly, a big point of contention for me is the krypt. I've wasted so much time in there. There should've been a redundancy for people who only want to play competitively. e.g. after 50 fights you earn x piece of gear etc... just doesn't make any sense to me.

For me to rebuy the game in the future maybe a complete collection.

1. The biggest one is the god damn hitboxes.

2. Make frames actually matter. Poke meta is terrible and can't remember the times I'm plus 6 and get grabbed out of my mid or poked out of my string by something that shouldn't work.

3. Communication WTF happened nrs use to be open and people loved them for that now we get a nightwolfs troll post and still nothing a week later.

4. KBs do something with them there gap between geras and johnny shouldnt be so rediculous

At this point just fix hitbox issues. Now if we have to wait until evo is done, a fking big balance patch, including new/reworked variations.

Well that’s a morbid way to start a thread.

My demands are as follows:

Cassie with her MKX skins WITH the undercut.

Kano needs buffs to make him at least S TIER ( F1 should be a 9 frame mid and the whole string should pop-up into a full combo).

EB deleted from the game.

Sindel added to the roster.

Anything less will be highly disappointing.
