Character Intro Songs...

Those of you who were in the chat and watched the KombatNetwork stream on 1/12/12 learned that I'm starting to do theme song intros for some players and characters. Kind of like each character having their own WWE intro song...LOL

So with that, I figured lets have some fun and see what we can come up with.

Here are the rules:

- Name of song and artist
- If possible, link to song with timestamp of the part of the song you are talking about
- Songs should have relevance to the character(obviously)
- Songs should have something funny about them(that's the idea here)
- If the relevance or reference to the character is obscure, explain it.

For instance, so far we have used Rain, and Rain's intro song is "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by the Scorpions.

So without further interruption, I ask you for the best intro songs for the CHARACTERS...

Self-explanatory, more fitting if Raiden's involved in the fight.

For Scorpion:


Self-explanatory, plus I think the power metal style fits him.

Admittingly that song could fit Raiden too, since he had a hammer at one point as well and it mentions thunderbolts from heaven. The heavier style fits Kahn more though imo.

CDJr comes out to whatever music Jax gets if he decides to play him.
The audience is tense, Phil calls out Reo's name.
He bursts through the entrance and this shit kicks off in the background


For this reason alone I think this should become Kabal's theme.

Dammit. I knew I was missing something. Lol. That's just my go to Red Devil song.

Hmm...there was a moment during my online adventures last week, where I just kind of looked at how I was fighting and saw I was finally catching on to shit/not being retarded/moving with the quickness, and so forth...I felt like I was finally playing how I SHOULD be playing, and it felt awesome.
And whenever awesome things happen, I think back on this song.
The video, too. That seems like something Ermac would do, get in a fight with the devil

I dnt think this character needs a song from a band to represent him when this song does fine on how dirty and rough the beat drops. Totally reflects his play style

I don't get it. Why does it have to be funny?
And Subzero cannot be Ice Icebaby. Subzero has class. Try Winter by Vivaldi. That's more Subby's style.

I agree with you... but you get the idea that I'm going for... death/power metal in this just doesn't work... we're looking for references here, not songs that just fit the character's personality.

Not necessarily funny... but again, you get it... I'm not looking for songs that just fit a character's personality, I'm looking for references...

thats what i am going for. some humor but some references. some just awesome. too many stupid 80's movies references only like 5 of us think is funny probably makes it seem stupid to a lot of people.
