Jump spammers on wakeup

@Chernyvolk brought up a good point about the startup of jumps.

I have never seen anyone mash jump so much in any of their previous games on wakeup. And so often your meaty will turn into an Anti air.

This is a little ridiculous... thoughts ?

Yep. Wakeup jump is real. Jumpings in this game are fucking ridiculous.

I disagree. There have never been so many mids with upward hitboxes as there are now. You get hit if you jump.
Yeah it will be an anti-air but that's your fault for not converting.
Convert a few times and they'll stop jumping.

It's a scrub term that will make people think that you have no idea what you're talking about. Especially when you say things like:

That's what converting means. Even if you catch them jumping, you can juggle them some more.
In fact, for some characters this gives excellent options such as for Raiden whom I'm assume you play.
Lab this situation and see what I mean.

Also, meaty is dead with the wakeup system.

For future reference. Please stay away from tech related discussions. You do nothing but bitch about Jade who is way above average.

The issue is exactly what I outlined. There's a slight invulnerability on get up and with the absurd amount of wakeup options in the game, Wake up jump because a real option. You take away the roll forward and the issue is lessened.

If they are airborn then you arent meatying. That is your fault. Go into training mode, see how much advantage your knockdowns actually have, do the math, and practice the timing. As an fyi short delayed get up adds 14 frames to your knockdown and long delay adds 31.

Seems like this thread took the wrong direction. And @BuffRaiden, learn to take criticism if you're gonna make a thread complaining about "spamming" jumps. Grow thicker skin and don't turn into such a manchild over stuff like this.
