Kabal is slept on for sure!

Erron is slightly over rated but idk if a full tier below. Personally I think he's the low end of the top tier. Ppl just figuring Raiden out so probably too early to tell.

Outrageous that anyone is compared to D'Vorah - she is hot trash. And no amount of SonicFox beating ppl with her will change my opinion on that.

Probably the worst one I've seen in a while. Looks a bit trolly.

Nevertheless. I think the biggest problem with all these tier lists is people trying to pretend the game is more balanced than it really is with their rankings. What I mean is, the game is balanced well for an early launch, but no, the gap between "S" and "A" is nowhere near the gap between Sonya/Geras and D'Vorah/Kotal. Not even close.

S Tier(Very Cheap) : Erron Black, Geras, Scorpion, Sonya Blade, Sub Zero

A+ Tier(Very Strong): Baraka, Cassie Cage, Jax, Lui Kang, Noob Saibot

A Tier(Very Good): Cetrion, Jacqui, Kabal, Kollector, Scarlet

A- Tier(Most Balanced): Jade, Johnny Cage, Kano, Kitana, Kung Lao, Raiden

B Tier(Good But Has Faults): D' Vorah, Frost, Kotal Kahn, Shao Kahn

Notice how they were very cheap before,but now are very balanced. I think there's a bit of a after Combo Breaker enthusiasm in all of tournament players. But I tend to agree with Mustard's tier-list the most where Kotal and D'vorah are in the lowest tiers.

there is no way that sub is that high and there is no way raiden and kitana are in the same tier.

im not even gonna talk about erron not been top 3

I feel like D'Vorah, Shao, Kotal are D tier and below not A.
I don't think it should be S+, S-, A+, A
I don't even feel the top 5 are S tier more like A+
I do agree that the game feels very balanced compared to 9/X but it has its issues and many many hitbox issues. There are characters that are not fine like Kotal, Shao, D'Vorah and imo Frost and Kung Lao.

Here is my representation of the Tiers:

A+ Tier: Geras, Sonya, Erron, Jacqui
A Tier: Cassie, Jax, Baraka, Kabal, Liu Kang, Sub Zero, Scorpion, Cetrion.
B Tier: Jade, Kitana, Noob, Scarlet
C Tier: Johnny, Kung Lao, Kano.
D Tier: Frost, Kollector, Raiden.
D- Tier: Shao Kahn, Kotal Kahn,
Note: Kotal and shao need hitboxes fixed and maybe a faster mid, a few special moves made more useable, Just QOL adjustments.
Doesn't even exist on the tiers: D'Vorah this characters data needs redesigned.

I personally don't think that Erron Black is very cheap; I'll even go as far to say that while he is a very good character, he is slightly overrated. I feel that Geras and Scorpion are the only true S-tier characters... the way Scorpion controls the match is nuts and as far as Geras, he has some of the easiest KBs in the game along with some crazy 50/50s.

Also, I have no idea what tier Skarlet is.

I've been using her as an alt - I feel like she plays MK11 very different. I feel good playing her - my winrate says otherwise.

i 100% agree with reo when he says this is most balanced mk game to date. i pray we soon are allowed to use kustomization in all forms of play.

Why is everybody working so hard to split the cast up into 8 tiers. There's like, Geras and Sonya, everybody else, and then Kotal and D'Vorah. Everybody else is still getting figured out.

Despite the tier difference between the top 3 and the rest, this still feels the most balanced game of NRS to date during launch.

In MK9, IGAU, MKX and I2 by this time we had a least one or 2 balance patches.

And this is easily proven by seeing they only fixed bugs rather than making drastic changes.
