PNDK&M: Optimising Noob Saibot Combos - MK11 Tech

Thanks. I came to a few of these conclusions myself minus the 2nd dash. I think I got 11 upkick to work. Like wise you can not do the dash and whiff 1 and do a really late 113 and it all hits and get the b1,1+3 as well. I gotta actually write these damage numbers down as 3x difficulty isnt work 20 damage to me, but 1.5x for 300 more is.

what are the main combos you do that you dont find too hard?

I saw this video, looks like I have some lab work to do. I generally am of the mindset that you should only go for the highest damage combos that you (personally) can hit 99 times out of 100. I can hit 113, ex tele, f3, f2212 (35%) 99 times out of 100. These combos? Not so sure (that dash and double dash combo timing looks really tight even with the visual cue hints they mention). To me optimal damage is only worth it if you can basically hit it everytime because when you drop you generally get punished.

Just as a side note, this tech works after the following combo starters..

113~exTele, (1)13, 113~bf2.... 410.59

f2~exTele, (1)13, 113~bf2.... 361.20

b1,1+3~exTele, (1)13, 113~bf2.... 393.14

21~exTele, (1)13, 113~bf2.... 373.14

4~exTele, (1)13, 113~bf2.... 401.20

2~exTele, (1)13, 113~bf2.... 361.20

b3~exTele, (1)13, 113~bf2.... 381.20

I'm more interested in the timing for d2 kb 113 b11+3 as the dmg increase is huge
I have horrible luck with d2 kbs. Just a dash forward b11+3 out right whiffs or the 1+3 whiffs.
I need to lab more but starting to wonder if I should just switch chars now.
Noob has superb damage and I can land most of these in a legit fight, IF I land an opener.

I'd say just wait for a balance patch and make a choice after that. It's not like there are more interesting playstyles. You can always main one string man aka liu and have better "success"

Fair enough.

However, what you should NOT be doing is inputting the whole string if you know there's a chance to drop when you're trying to go for max damage.

I actually find the 113 after mb telly on female hurtboxes easier to do than on male, you don't have to do a microdash but just input 113 asap after the telly. Works 99.9% of the time, so that's my go-to combo when I play against female characters.

The combo after D2 KB needs labbing and getting used to. But I don't think this tech applies after d2 kb since the gravity changes after it.

It definitely does work and it's a huge increase making it worth the trouble imo. Next best is simply doing d2 kb b11+3

I can get the micro-dash 113 after tele about 25% of the time.
One thing I did was change my input window from Long to Medium, and seemed to get it slightly more often. Any of you guys tweak your input window settings?
I am pretty sure it's timing the damn dash that keeps getting me.

From what I've experienced is the timing window just affects the buffer window on combos. I can do f221 bf2 really fast and get regular 2 if on medium but long gives me tackle.
Best example I tried was geras amp throw into shoulder then sand trap. Long I could sand trap motion before shoulder hit and all flows medium it didnt work unless I did sand trap as shoulder hits.
