No Records in MK9 GOTY Edition?

I'd say I'm an above average player, not amazing, but I can still do work. However, I get ignored/declined 80% of the time by people with good records. I'm not talking about someone 12-6, I'm talking someone 1100-600 or 600-200, etc. I'm playing PS3 right now, and my account doesn't even have a total of 30 games played. So who here is in favor to just completely doing away with records, and just PLAYING THE GAME. I know I am. I can't go back to those laggy ass ranked matches. I just can't.

I'm an American for the record, but I just want to play the game. It takes two people, and I can't even find the other one.

Lucky for me, my psn attracts all level players, so it isnt hard for me to play against someone.

Regardless of whether it's a good idea or not, it's not going to happen. GOTY editions are just the original game plus the DLC and patches. They aren't going to change any fundamental things about the game for a GOTY re-release.

I swear, if MK was treated like one of the 4 major sports, we'd have ridiculous stats like how many projectiles thrown per every first round, percentage of damage done while having less than 10% life left, average round time, how many games lost after winning the first round, etc.

And it'd all mean something. MK theory fighter isn't so different from sports fantasy teams.
