Nah they changed it to a mid before release.

No, the supposed area that the puzzle with the 3 emblems unlock. Have done that puzzle via glitch.

The area that opens is right next to the puzzle, a door opens when the puzzle is solved. If nothing opened for you the glitch you did is the problem imo
