There is a section called "AI Battles"..... dose anyone know what that is all about.. you seem to select 3 people as "defenders" and then 3 as "attackers" and then watch a video of the ai fighting themselves... I do not understand this or what the point of it is and how it works.

You set up your character AI attributes in the kustomization section (when you’re configuring your variations). Then just have them fight someone else’s to see if yours are better.

Because... reasons? I guess?

I have no idea. Not sure why it was a thing in Injustice 2 either. I just fast-forward through them to get the rewards.

Maybe just so people who aren’t good at fighting games can still customize their characters and see them in action? I dunno really.

They're a token option for allowing the CPU to grind for your paid-for content, instead of you yourself having to do it.

Needless to say, the bots are garbage and have been proven already to be entirely unable to beat the game's more ridiculous battles (which serve as content plateaus that stop content acquisition by players); thereby, incentivising further investment into a money-for-good transaction that consumers completed at point-of-sale.
NB: MK11 is not a "games as a service" or subscription based game, nor is it free-to-play. Yet, it is replete with micro-tranny scams and content gating that would make most f2p MMO's look like 90's era stand-alone games!

The system was present in Injustice 2 and, from what little I did dabble with it, the CPU at least did acquire some content. However, those were the prototype content ransoming models NRS-Warner were testing out; whereas, MK11 is the "version 1.0" of their erstwhile fighting game franchise, now evolved to a micro-tranny harlots harem.

If there is anything that I have stated that is NOT factual, please point it out and I will stand correct as such. Otherwise, my fact-based analyses of the effective ransomware that MK11 is infected with, is merely to counter the lily gilding that most starry-eyed fanplebes of NRS / MK are too fearful (or obtuse) to call out, and should be taken as nothing more.

FACTS or GTFO.

I tried to warn you all that this is what would happen if we gave women the right to vote.

Facts? That’d be a new one for you. Everything you post is pure horse shit.

Ok.. to bring it back on track....

How do you get the bots to "grind" the towers? I only see a way to fight other players teams?

thanks!

You can have your AI loadout play a tower match by pressing 1 (square, X) when choosing your character. You’ll see it toggle AI on or off. I was using it for the ones that were pure bullshit difficulty, haha.

What are the chances of getting good stuff in the AI Battles? So far I'm only getting crappy items

its a bit of a strategical game: create a variation and set it to a fitting behaviour, equip the right items, then let them go at each other. i like the concept but they could give it more customiztation options next time (i'm thinking of dragon age: origins tactics screen :D). imo it has potential to become its own thing.

Yesterday my friends brought up a discussion we had years ago, about how the industry is killing local multi-player and that in the future we will seeing AIs playing our games. So...

This mode could be somewhat useful if you could just dispatch the team without the need to see the fight.

Anyway: Every now and then go into "battle log" to receive gifts (supposed loot you get of your "defending" team)

Is it possible to speed up the fighting when using the bots in the Challenge Towers? Like in the AI Battles you can set it to x4 speed.... can you do that in the towers as well?
