Don't know what i'm more excited for. The Dark Knight rises or 16 bit vs Tom Brady. In all seriousness though people really just need to relax around here. No one needs to be talking about watered down tournaments (really stupid) and this whole thing needs to stop being a he said she said type of thing. I mean isn't there away to create hype without there being some type of controversy behind it.

Someone with mad photoshop skills needs to make 16bit Batman and Tom Brady Bane.

But seriously people calling SCR "watered-down" is just trying to start stuff. 16 bit, I have been acting like Ric Flair at brawl tournaments since 07 and seeing someone else with this ridiculous energy makes me happy. I cannot make it to final round but I will be at APEX, WOOOOOOOOOing it up.

all I know is that all East coast x West coast debate duel, SoCal x NY supposed grudges etc, seems crap bullshit in my book ... what matter is watching good fighting show in tourneys, good demonstration of skill, no matter where these people live in USA ... lol !

Don't understand why 16 bit has been calling out Tom Brady, but not CD Jr, who 100% meant everything he said about his gameplay style (no misunderstandings here) and SCR being watered down. Mind you, I'm positive CD Jr has been acting this way because of the things 16 bit said about his brothers in the podcast. Otherwise, he'd probably have kept his mouth shut.

i didnt even see CD jrs tweet, and NO thats not what i was refering too. you can read any stream and see that ppl were saying the comp was weak and watered down. i never said it and would never say it..

Whether he feels the need to defend his brother is irrelevant, CD Jr is stuck in the east coast is best coast mindset; which after being beaten by Detroit you'd think he'd change his tune...none the less, by claiming that SCR wasn't worthy of his praise he's insulted not only 16 bit but all of the players there. I don't see why a sponsored player wouldn't just attend said tournament? Oh, that's right, the East Coast isn't expected to travel like everyone else.

I don't post much but I had to respond to this.

I'm going to have to agree here. Tom realized some things might have sounded wrong and took the time to explain and apologize about some things. Before that, everyone is out to get him and put him on blast. But when Cd jr says something, it’s just a misunderstanding and people shouldn’t start drama? What the hell is up with that? Tom might say some things before thinking, or might come off a certain way to others, but the bottom line is he is great for the community and has done a lot. And he became even bigger of a player and person to me after manning up and owning up to his mistake and saying sorry. But other people saying SCR was water down (which is so disrespectful to all the players that was there) is ok and we should just forget about it. This community is like being in HS.

Let me clarify I am fine with CDjr statements hes not a coward like PL for example, he said his opinion right on the forums. I am disgusted with the overlooking that some people are doing around here when they damn well know who said what. If this was Brady I swear to god everything would be different right now. I remember when Slips got so upset on a suppose rumor Tom said about his tekken career, he even said he would play Tom in a match over it, but CDjr actually makes a response to one of his post, and basically tell him his man won a waterdown tourny. I expected Slips to respond with a MM, but nope nothing. I guess you cant call out people who win tournies for fear of being exposed in a MM, but Tom Brady is fair to call out hes trash remember?

Regardless, if you said the stuff that CDjr has you have to admit everybody would be calling you out for it. CDjr though a different story. That's when its "Oh no we gotta stop the drama" or "He didn't mean it like that".

I can't call out nameless people in a stream chat. I wasn't there obviously. Everybody told me about CD jr and I've seen his posts and that tweet so he'll get a call out. If somebody else wants to come forward they can get one too or people can name names.

To my knowledge, 16 calling out Brady goes back to Brady saying and this may be horribly butchered because it's going from memory and it's paraphrased: "16 bit plays Kitanna wrong." "His style is outdated and will not be successful in modern tournaments."

I think those comments kinda lit a fire under 16's ass to go out there and win, and when he did, that's why he lashed out at Brady.

As far as the CD Jr stuff goes, I am sure there will be some sort of response to him as well. I must say tho, this is highly uncharacteristic of CD Jr, but perhaps he is showing his true colors. Either way, it's hella entertaining.
