PSA About the Beta

So it seems that if you didn't pre-order, you can still play the updated beta if you got in the stress test.

I had to download the beta again because I deleted it and upon trying to find an online match. It updated the game data and made Jade and Kabal available to play.

I don't know if NRS is aware of this or what, so if it gets fixed, don't be too disappointed. But now's your chance to give it a whirl!

Doesn't seem different at all.

Glad to hear since even though I did pre-order from Best Buy Canada, I'm yet to receive a download code. Good thing I still have that Closed Beta on my PS4.

Out of curiosity, why would anyone not pre-order, if they have any interest in the beta?

Even if you don't actually want to pre-order, you can go to your local GameStop or equivalent, pre-order, use the code, then cancel the pre-order four days later. Easiest thing in the world. At least in North America, maybe elsewhere it's more complicated.

warner said it'd be send out yesterday, then confirmed that there was a mistake and codes'd be send out today, the store itself confirmed to me that codes'd be sent until 10pm (1h39m left...) but I don't even have hopes to play the beta today anymore.

some people (only 2-4, mind you) got their codes early today, so it isn't a problem of "the codes aren't being send out". and like c'mon, how long it could take to email messages???

one could tell "relax, it's just a day" but when it comes to costume service is actually pretty bad to offer something then don't make it happen.

it's like you get a free unlimited hotdog coupon for 3 days, but they only give you the coupon on day 2

Not in the Beta. I believe it was stated somewhere that it will be in the base game at launch.

You get a single player Tower, online player match, kustomization menu and options settings.

Does this mean they’ll unlock him over the weekend? Kinda like they did with Injustice 2, adding characters throughout the beta.

Unfortunately, CO-KANO is basically Kano IRL (Cutthroat Kano, to be precise - he's often very specific about this) and likely received his Mortal Kombat 11 Beta (Kano Ver.) through illicit, underground means. Therefore, it has no bearing on what the plebs like ourselves play. That said, it'd be cool if any characters were added, Kano included.

Put in a pre-order at Best Buy’s website. I got my code within minutes. Back in February at least.
