I definitely want Friendships back. I love Kitana baking a birthday cake on the spot for her opponent in MK2. Besides, players need an option other than "To Fatality or Not to Fatality"

I do enjoy the babality, whenever possible. But the requirements for getting it are so unrealistic in most competitive settings.

I just wish there were an easier, funny option - and friendships fit that bill. Plus it would be a great shoutout to generations of loyal MK players.
And it would be a nice contrast against seeing how many ways I can destroy and dismember my opponents.

I think it would be pretty sweet if they had friendships. But also I think it would be awesome if they came up with a new idea, like reversible friendships. For example:

Stryker's friendship when he people cross the street. Press a certain button combination to reverse the friendship, and a bus comes out of nowhere and runs you over.

Kitana's friendship when she bakes a cake. Press a certain button combination and she smashes the cake in your face instead

Sub Zero's friendship where he turns into a snow man. Press a certain button combination and he sneezes, causing the carrot to fly towards your head and fatality you.

I think that would epic if they added a new feature like this to MK. If somebody pulled a friendship on you, you wouldn't know if they were going to actually befriend you or reverse it into a fatality lmao

I like that idea.

Liu Kang could have his classic arcade machine fall down but they play together instead of it landing on the opponent. The reverse friendship is that Raiden or Kano come out and punch your opponent in the face with the words "SO REAL IT HURTS" flashing.

Yeah man, if they had enough creativity I am pretty sure they could come up with tons of things for every character.

Like Jax's friendship, he can just start jumping rope than after you reverse the friendship he throws the rope at you yelling "gotcha!" And just chokes you or something with it lmao

I think if anything they should just have all the extra features and easter eggs in MK9 and add the freindships in a possible Ultimate MK9, or just MK10.

Friendships were triggered the very same way...

and THATS why they are so much better, and thats why you feel so embarrassed when it happens to you.

Babalities = best finishing move ever. :)

Just search youtube for 'MK2 sub zero friendship'. (No access to it at work)

I always thought it was odd tbh.
