I'm pretty sure the exo suit thing just started as fan rumour due to one of the characters getting a dramatic redesign after Tylers comments during the last cast. There was never any legitmate T about her being in an exo suit.
They take up valuable spots of interesting characters...and why do they have to be in EVERY game, they can sit out a game.

No such thing as characters taking other characters slots. If they wanted Sindel to be base roster, she'd be base roster. Removing Kano from the game wouldn't suddenly make Sindel playable.
I honestly think it wouldn't really work at this point. They're really the only force protecting Earthrealm currently, unless they reboot again, which I really hope they don't.
There are others that theoretically could protect earthrealm without a reboot. And there don’t have to be THAT many of them.
There are less Special Forces character in MK11 than there were in MKX though. If you don't want any at all, that's entirely unrealistic. Some of them are iconic and others are fan favorites.
Which character is "interesting" is entirely subjective. Obviously some fans think those characters are interesting.

I have proven already that I even give Cassie and Jacqui a chance, I only hate Jax being in, if that is hating everything, than you must be Jax fans who are pissed off. And I don’t really like the KK, but MANY people share that opinion, still you only mention me.
Yes dear person, but people that don’t like them also have the right to state it, just like Special Forces fans have the right to hate on actual cool characters like Rain, Noob and Skarlet.

I'm praying that Baraka kills Jacqui or one of The OG 7 so that he can actually do something important in the story or we'll get to see a timeline where Baraka rules Outworld. The poor guy needs a power boost.
Dream on, NRS will never kill one of those kids in storymode... Expect the likes of Ermac, Noob and Frost to die in storymode, but not their precious little SF, new age children. They probably beat everything again and hold off the entire cast of characters while being wounded themselves, you know, just to give us that nostalgic chills of MKX when Takeda and Jacqui hold off sindel and the other revenants, just because.

If @EdenianWarrior is referring to the fact that NRS has limited resources then he's correct. The five special forces characters (and all characters on the leaked roster) do in fact take other potential characters' slots. So if Sindel were on the base roster, one of the characters on the leaked roster couldn't be simply due to budget constraints.
