Nurgle Chaos God of Death and Disease
Decided to make a thread for any Warhammer or Warhammer 40k fans, just a place those of us that do partake in this hobby to show off our work, or for those that just like to see people's work and painting.

Below is a link to several of my pieces I recently did

If there any others here that do this stuff lets see what you got!!!

I stopped playing 40k after high school (a decade now holy shit) and then picked it back up when I saw how sick the new Death Guard looked.

Not finished yet but my Stinky Bois work in progress. Another 20 Poxwalkers similarly need basing and touch ups. I really struggle finding time to actually sit down and paint.

Currently working through Typhus and Deathshroud terminators.

Time is a commodity I never have its why I mainly paint now. I never have time to play anymore.

Those look good BTW

some heroes are born, some made, some wondrous
I used to paint as a kid... I recently (as in a few months ago) started again as I wanted a hobby now I am just to old to play footy. I havn't kept up with it as much as I should.. but had a blast. I'm learning new stuff every time I use the brush.

I even started making videos.
These are the very first models I did!! lol... You can see the green one on the right is all smoky as I used a cheap spray on varnish to seal it : (

I do not play anymore.. and have moved on from Warhammer and 40K as well. I mean they are very fun... but soooooo expensive.

I'm really into boardgames, and the boardgame scene has amazing models now. So for the price of a single CU in 40K you can get an entire boardgame (and baordgames rule) plus a bunch of super high quality models...

This is the base modual one of a kickstarter (yeah boardgames use kickstarter a lot and are not plauged by the problems in the video game industry) and for 100 bucks you get a pretty out there amount of product. These are so detailed it boggles the mind and range from normal models to these gods and monsters that are just HUGE. This is common in boardgaming at the moment.

This is very cool and way beyond my skill level haha!

I love the metallic look of it.

There is a neat "subscription" thing I joined when I restarted called "Asset Drop"... in it they send you some random non-GW or Vallejo or w/e... they also come with detailed guides for beginners.

Anyway they introduced me to a paint called "WARCOLOURS".. they are frickn amazing. Like Coat-of-Arms or P3 paints they are not pigment based... but unlike normal liquid pigment paints they are these strange "gels". They have bonkers coverage.. but also thin into near transparency. They are just crazy.

Anyway, they have this range of paints called "Translucent" and they are amazing at doing metals and all sorts of stuff... just mind-blowing. Like you can paint the specular and stuff that makes it look metal directly on prime colours and it just looks like metal. It is really crazy.

I just paint now I don't have time for gaming anymore with two kids and a wife. Though I may be back for MK11 with tourneys.

Anyway I would recommend the Dark Souls board game. The models are really nice and the expansion maybe about 70 bucks a pop but the minis are worth it.

Also you did good work on ur snakes

Add me on PS4 if you want to play some games
As a college student I don't really have money to throw around for the sets or anything like that, but I do love Warhammer. The only Warhammer fix I can really get anymore is from Total War and Vermintide, which are both good but obviously not quite the same.
