I hate throws

I really do. I see them coming from a mile away, start smashing buttons and I can't break them. In fact, if I get to break them, I take 1% against some characters ffs.
Meter waste bug, input bug, negative edge and little things really do NOT make my day in any way whatsoever -_-

agree..depending on who you are fighting sometimes it depends on the positioning on where you are at on the map..For example if you are in the corner a smart person applying pressure isnt going to throw you out..It wouldnt benefit them to throw themselves into the corner just for a measley what? like 12%? That increases your chances of teching grabs in corners..

Yeah well, I'm not ducking from a safe jump. I'm like "here comes the throw" and I smash like a bitch I swear.

What pisses me off is not the damage, but the momentum reset.

Honestly as a Mileena player I throw ALOT. Probably more than what people should. I like her throw because she throws the opponent full screen and thats where i want them to be. BUT if a good player is rushing me down my weakness is getting them off me so 100% of the time im begging them to throw me.

I'm pretty good at reading throws and ducking under them, not so great at teching (most of my experience with good players is online so throw tech is moot with a less than stellar connection). My roomie is incredible at teching throws but I suspect it's because he's a scrubby Scorpion player who's already mashing the 1 button anyhow. He never gets out of that back-throw.
