It's all so very confusing.
Wow.. Kid in top? Interesting.

Funny how his perception has changed since launch. Or seems like it has.

He was kinda seen as that S+ insane character at launch, then fell off when people were saying what he had wasnt "real", because one or two gimmicks were figured out, all while ignoring the 234566 other things he can do, then seemed to really slip in usage compared to the other top tiers, but now he's resurfacing.

I swear I was destined to be the worst kinda person with this game lol.

Edit: Just realized he put Kid over Cell.

I mean.. I dunno about all that.

Kid Buu as top tier scares me on an existential level as I've always comforted myself losing to this character via "he's just a crazy, 'El Fuetre' type, at the end of the day just a bill that gets you salty"

The idea that his shenanigans can have legitimate dirt under them....

Probably not optimal but i dont pick teams based around being optimal either, also fun to put in the work after. I wanted to play team gohan, goku blue is in cuz if i match their outfit colors to their hair looks like team power rangers lol.

This my 2ndry team tho, i hope if vegito comes out hes blue as well so i can mayb switch out goku

My first team will finally be complete after midnight tonight tho, i put that on EVERYTHING

I hate always being “that guy”, but I still dislike the obsession with tier lists. I’m not saying this to be edgy, different, or whatever. I just don’t get it. I mean, I get it being fun to talk about, that’s fine to me. But tier lists REALLY are irrelevant in my personal opinion. They do not (or should not) matter to competitive players.

To clarify, I’m not saying “oh every character can be great in the right hands so screw tier lists”. There’s 100% characters that are top tier and bottom tier. My point is the tier list debates largely devolve into arguing rather someone is top 10 or top 11, if someone is A tier or A+. Does that small distinction really make that significant of a difference for everyone to obsess over it?

Sorry, not trying to be negative, the opposite actually. I just don’t think it’s ever a positive or productive thing making tier lists or critiquing tier lists, etc. Tier lists should only be relevant to newer players so they have a good base to look at so they can see from the rip who is considered on top, average, or at the bottom. In regards to competitive players, we already know these things. We don’t need these Gods like SF or Go1 to tell us these things. We already know.

Anyway, I digress. I just can’t stand the tier list discussion. Also, this wasn’t directed at you man, just in general. Just needed to vent.

Yeah, I've felt like Kid was an absolute beast from pretty early on. Ive played him since launch and while I'm trash, I could see the potential he has.

Even taking away the mix he's capable of, you have a small hitbox character with a superb kit..he can play anywhere on the screen and he's a huge threat from anywhere on the screen. His assist can be a little wonky to set up but it's very powerful once used.. just a nasty character. Add in his dirt and you're dealing with a monster.

I've had him cycled out for a bit because I felt like TG needed specific support, but I'm working on ways to bring him back in and find some synergy there.

some broly combos. I had one hour time coz o g2g to work. I think can be optimized further. I rly think he May have 100% combo potential

Not really sure I understand. Offline vs online.... an adult gohan or kid buu player calls a beam assist and then vanishes. What offline reaction is available that doesnt end up with you blocking until you're in the corner eating infinite mixups?

I suppose you could just let vanish hit you, but getting hit on purpose as your best choice seems like a bad game to me.

Afaik grounded vanish doesn't jail follow-ups, just frame traps them, so you can reflect or use an invincible move.

Ofc that's not considering assists, but still. I hated vanish being plus at first but I'm alright with it now. It sucks that it makes top tiers even dumber, but on the flip side it does help the lower tier's approach, pressure, and safety options quite a bit.

I dunno. All of that is true, but i just really hate how its... "i did assist vanish. You are dead now." Against adult gohan, cell, and kid buu, tahts what the game is. You can just hold up and back so that you dont block it on the ground i suppose.

tierlist make a lot of sense when u r competing at highest levels like go1.

Agreed, in my eyes though - if anything -that’s a reason to touch those chars...

Not saying they definitely should/shouldn’t (alt kettle’o’fish), I just don’t think vanish being +2 is the problem here.

Online delay does make reflecting unassisted vanish follow-ups a guessing game tho... maybe +1 would be better, but I’m not suggesting it unless 6f 2L/5L becomes universal. Otherwise some chars wouldn’t even frame trap.

I absolutely am there with you man. All this talk about tiers n shit is sooooo fucking irrelevant to how you as an individual play, unless you want to copy somebody's team, but that's lame as fuck.

Kid Buu on the other hand has ALWAYS been on top. I dont know why ppl are surprised all of a sudden. Cuz of what....the top player places him on his personal tier list? Re-tarded. But whateva....work on YOU and YOUR team rather than obsess with somebody else's. Thats my thang ;)
