It's all so very confusing.
@everyone who's lending a hand on this,

Much appreciated. Yeah I had some more success a bit ago by keeping everything tight and crisp and making sure the SD was very late, and trying to slightly delay the 5S in the last loop. That's helped.

Part of what I think I've been doing wrong, is I've ground this combo out so much and so constantly that it was working against me.. im so used to the first section that I was kinda loose on the timing and that's been setting me up for failure. I was so focused on the SD and beyond I'd let the rest get shabby. Enough to be totally consistent but nothing else.

@Sultani it rly do not matter what Color ur square is. I like to think that I am decent player and have had it to Red but then in every session I play I find someone who is fking good and play up to 3-6 sets with him/her alone and usually getting demolished. Ranked is cancer but casual, there is where the good games are imo

Yes.. all of this. The first part up until the first sd needs to be input as you're still moving upwards or the 2S will wiff. That timing isnt all that difficult to get down.
Sorry, perhaps wasn’t clear enough. Don’t mean just the second jc, but every button up to the SD. If any button is delayed, there’s an impact on timing/distance. Not saying it’s hard, but like entropic said, easy to loosen up accidentally when drilling, and might not be immediately apparent if you’re transfixed on SD timing etc.

Casuals are just as bad as ranked in my experience. Ppl ragequitting in casuals is just mind blowing in my honest opinion. Can't remember a fighting game where the salt levels were this big..
Glad to hear its not only me lol Last night 4 ppl quit on me and I play only casual matches :p They always quit at end during lvl3s when they are gonna die from it lol

btw how do you rage quit in this game ? you cant press start and leave like in nrs games .

there is toppo theme in this game ? ?

Blame the squares, man. People don't want to rank down so they'll quit, plus it has no penalty and the majority of this game's audience is dbz casuals. It's why the majority of pink squares are trash coz they ragequit all day just to get a higher rank/square level.

But shouldn't casuals not punish you for loosing games and change your square colors?

Yeah it works very well when contesting the air in neutral with most of the cast have a good sized hitbox on their air.m plus it looks swaggy as fuck when you bring them down from super high up.

Maybe you were doing with a block that switches sides like trunks beerus if not I have never seen what you are talking about unless you maybe crossed them up in the air.
As I promised, here's the gif of what happened.

I knew that my buddy would block, so I had to do the Vanish to attack him from the other side, when this shit happened. I'm at a loss here.

Ugh. I truly envy those of you that can just sit down and bang out combos consistently with smallish amounts of practice. I am still struggling with this bomb loop.

I've got the first part down really well now.. I get to the grounded 236.H without any trouble at all, super consistent (in the lab) on that first part in 0-3 frames of delay.. takes me a few reps to adjust when I make large jumps in the delay, but then it's solid. Fucking 236.h shows up though and that's all she wrote. I kick holy hell out of the air in front of the opponent's face.

I feel like I'm missing something. I kinda think it's a matter of speeding up the very first JC in the combo and slowing down the last juggle.. but when I do this sometimes it works and sometimes I really feel like my timings were good and I'm expecting the 236.h to land.. but it doesn't. And I can't imagine it's actually this finnicky since it's considered useable in real matches. I thought originally it was all in the SD but I don't think so now. I've hit the dash early and late on some successfull attempts. I don't think I'm just doing the 236.h too late either like I thought.. often I see the kick whiff in their face with more than enough time, they tech out well after the kick is over, they were just too far back for it to reach.

Meh. I'ma keep at it, just frustrated. I have at MINIMUM 5hrs into grinding this combo, and probably well over 6, spread across a few days. And I see people that are like "yeah man that was tough it took me like 15m to land the first one and I'm only landing it about 2/3rds of the time after 45m!" ... And I cry inside because I get the whole thing after 15~ attempts MAYBE and I've been at this for days.

Anyone else want to try this and see how they fair?

2MM j.MLL j.MS-2S SD j.MS-2S 236.H SD -> whatever air sequence you want.

You have to hesitate a little on the SD to get the j.ms portion to connect afterwards. If you're really fast the opponent will fall out after the j.m and the S will whiff. And the 236.h is grounded, so you have to let him land.
I tend not to input my SD unti I see the explosion of the first 2S hit. This stupid combo builds on itself so if you fuck up the first part, you wont get the second. Like previously mentioned, everything depends on your delayed super dash into M, 5S, 2S. Just keep at it. Also, I noticed that if I slowed down my inputs, I became more consistent. Sometimes you just get hype for the combo and you unconsciously start mashing (at least for me).

I'm trying to figure out how to use the beam assist to pick them back up after the second 2S. That shit is nuts. you can pick them up and then combo into lightning kicks and vanish for a wall bounce and catch them on the way down with a DP into 1-Super. Shit is mad hype. I see Sled do this on a regular basis and it boggles my mind. i'm sitting here like a pleb trying to get it to work still lmaooo

Still in that "broadening my horizon" phase atm. Fiddled with Majin Buu for a while, now I'm looking at throwing Ginyu into the mix.

Currently trying to decide if Ginyu or Buu would serve better as an anchor (even though neither will be placed in anchor position). Ginyu/Buu/? Is team layout I'm looking at. Ginyu doesn't require near as many resources for setups and damage as Buu does, but in turn Buu gets the superior oki with those extra resources. What would you guys suggest?

In regards to the 3rd, I'm leaning towards Vegeta or beam backup from Black/Goku. But I'm just not sure who I should focus on as a street sweeper between Ginyu and Buu.

Looks like the vanish actually hit on the left, which turned him around right away to face you because he was in block stun.

Thats frickin crazy! Yeah, that has to be some type of glitch shit lol. But ive learned if you vanish attack while in the air, you're not at advantage on block.

Yeah you were still facing right and him left when you vanished. So since vanish teleports you to the otherside, it did it behind where he was facing but in reality in front of him. You should’ve been + tho if you cancelled the landing recovery frames, but still not 100% sure how that works.

I dont think you have the advantage when you vanish attack while airborne

Not how it works, you vanish to the same spot no matter where you are on the screen, it's their position that changes where you appear after vanishing.

For the vanishes that appear in front for some reason it happened quite a bit with me, idk if it's specific moves or a glitch but the main culprits for me were 18's level 3 and 16's jumping dunk where I'd try to vanish from far away to catch them and instead I vanish right into their attack..

Have u tested this? Vanishing while in air into a block string? I believe I'm on the same boat as many other people who have also experienced what only seems to be minus on block when performed in the air. What I think is happening is the landing recovering of some moves when performed in the air is applying to the vanish and negating the plus that you would've had otherwise. I have NOT tested yet, I can later though.

YES

Fina-fuckin-lee.

Ok, im still not 100% or anything, but Ive found where I was going wrong. I was doing the second j.M after the j.MLLL fast, but I have to be a little tighter on it, and gotta delay the SD just a weeee bit more. I can tell now if it'll land as soon as I hit SD.

Yay.

MUCH THANKS TO EVERYONE HERE who has helped me solve this little puzzle. Still got a lot of practice to do, but I have the last thing I need to get this locked down.

Yeah i did it in training mode before hitting “post”.
The vanish connects on the same spot no matter where you vanish from if they’re standing. It hit the same spot off of grounded stuff and off of superjump into jump S with Cell.
I did not try to blockstring off of it but it should be the same, I’ll try it out tomorrow to make sure.

I just tested on block, landing recovery doesn't seem to apply. Also tried some air normals into vanish to see if it made a difference, it didn't.

Unless im missing something i think everyone probably just experiencing frame delay, me included
