Funny how that works. You know the old Ghostbuster figures from 1984 sealed MOC are worth so much anymore. A few years ago I was watching auctions of ebay... Peter Venkman sold for $230.

Used to have a ton but quite a few either didn't age well, or didn't withstand my wrath well. Like the MK G.I Joes lol. I managed to keep a few odd balls alive and well like Jade and Cyrax from the Trilogy line though.

Still have the Infinite concept line -

As well as the MKSM, Deception, and MKX sets. Unfortunately not all still in package aside from MKX ones but still treasure them all the same.

Just got the last Pop! collectible I needed to complete that set too!

Most of the Mortal Kombat figures from years ago, I thought were pretty much crap compared to what they could have been . Infinite Concepts were the only ones who did it right. I have that whole first series, one set in pack, one set displayed (well, in a box now and stored.

This is one of my favorite figures. It's from the Spawn comic book series "Godslayer"

Congrats on these! As you know, these are NOT easy to find!!!

Fun fact, I had an extra Scorpion that I painted black to do a custom Noob Saibot. :)

I'll have to post pics then.

Yeah the Hasbro, Jazwares etc are alright I have to say Mezco's pretty good though and Sideshow pretty damn detailed compared to the past figures. Some of them are really hard to find though depending on which ones you're looking for. I got the Deception Noob for 70 bucks, I think I got lucky with that deal honestly lol.

I wouldn't say I have a huge collection, but I have a bunch of Terminator and Alien figures.
My favorite Terminator figure... (I don't think I have it anymore...)

The struggle is STILL keeping them in package... of course you want to display them but then over the years pieces go missing because you're not so interested anymore. Then years down the road your interest is rekindled and you're missing pieces. I'd think to myself... "why didn't I keep it in pack?".

The Hasbro and Jazwares are okay IMO if you kept them in pack. Otherwise, posing them was a joke.

Of course the PopCultureShock statues, etc are amazing, but motherfuck... shall I pay my mortgage or get this statue for $800? It explains why they're so limited.

I've had a wealth of figures over the years ranging from anime, superheroes and video games. I've sold soooooo much before my girlfriend and I moved.

List of various things I owned at one point:

Almost every One piece figuarts zero figures up to the ones getting released last year.

Akana Rui from gyrozetter megahouse statue

Zoro and Nico Robin Portrait of Pirates from megahouse

Marvel legends action figures spanning from years earlier when toybiz was the distributor. My favorite that i had from the old line was dark phoenix, bishop, ms marvel and omega red. I wasnt a huge fan of the newer ones.

I had some dc collectible figures, my favorite ones being the red hood and the outlaws set of Jason Todd, starfire and arsenal and my batman arkham asylum joker and harley quinn figures all mint on card.

Some dc collectible statues: my favorite among then were the Cover Girls Catwoman designed by Adam Hughes and the batman arkham asylum nurse outfit harley quinn statue

I had some dc universe online statues, my favorites being green arrow, black canary and harley quinn

I had a few of those kotobukiya artfx+ statues. I had just the batman family minus Alfred.

And my personal favorite statue line the Kotobukiya Bishoujo. I've owned tons from this line including dark phoenix, rogue, every harley quinn, Nina Williams, batgirl, power girl, commander shepard and so many more

Nowadays I own only 6 statues currently that I've kept after my collection purge

My current collection consists of:

Joker Killing Joke ArtFX Statue By Kotobukiya the 1st edition one

Joker arkham city statue from dc collectibles

Harley Quinn arkham city statue from dc collectibles

Star wars Mara Jade bishoujo statue from kotobukiya

Emma Frost bishoujo Statue from kotobukiya

And the Power girl bishoujo Statue from kotobukiya.

These ones I absolutely couldn't sell lol

Sorry for the long reply. I'm hardcore with this stuff lmao

lol I hear ya. Those busts and statues are awesome but for fans who have money that don't know what to do with it you know what I mean? I love that Ermac MK 9 statue but man 4-800 bucks just super pricey. Those and certain action figures depending on which ones like the Deception Ice Sub-Zero omg that is so hard to find and if you do it's insanely expensive I saw one on ebay for 500 bucks mint condition, I was like what?! lol.

I have this thing for the MK coins, I think I may have the most in the world the deadly alliance gamestop exclusive pre-order ones, I have literally about 65+ last time I counted plus the original MK slammer with gold plating on the outside, and the original MK 2 Baraka coin though I still have to find the Shao Kahn one which is also SUPER rare from the 90's. They have NYPD Challenge coins but they're not technically "official" they're just based off certain designs/poses etc. Yeah I'm like that I don't like taking them out of the package for some reason, plus the value will remain high if you keep them in there and in good condition but I can see how tempting it is to take them out, pose them, play with them etc oh that terminator 3 figure is sweet, Todd's line is great. I remember that from the T3 special features and being blown away with the level of detail. Terminator figures are sweet, Neca came out with a T1 figure several months back looked amazing.

YOOOOOO!!!! You and I could talk for hours! I couldn't have said it better! I collected the Marvel Legends figures since they came out in 2003, I believe it was. I still have Storm, Juggernaut, Dark Phoenix (sealed) and Colossus. Oh, and the build-a-figure Sentinel! :)

When they switched to Hasbro... wow, talk about crap. Didn't they scale them down a lot shorter too? They're still releasing them. I was just looking at a few of them at Walmart the other night (just reminiscing) and they're now $18 each! They used to be $8 or $9.

Yeah, NECA makes and has made some great figures as well. If McFarlane could just do an MK or Injustice line...

Oh and I do want these...

Those are sweet, have you seen the TMNT 90's turtles? They're perfect. That would be sweet if Todd did MK or Injustice, I'd totally buy those.

Oh my MK funko's for you guys!

Dude. No joke. All of their products are outstanding. Have been dying to get my hands on this one -

...Even if it's likely the only one I could ever sparingly afford lol. Incredible work, detail, and I'm sure worth every penny - but that's a lot of pennies.

Yeah the quality of these new marvel legends are straight garbage. The paint is terrible, the molding is clunky and from what I here, the posable joints are fragile. Other then my killing joke statue, I don't open my figures and statues lol I can never bring myself to do it. They have indeed down graded and charge double. I attempted to collect the new marvel legends but after that guardians of the galaxy set, I was like why am I wasting my money? However, did you see the Jim Lee x-men marvel legends and the inhumans marvel legends? Those actually don't look that bad but they completely lack any accessories.

I remember when toybiz did the legends, there was backgrounds and accessories and a fully posable figure!
