Thanks my dude, you seem cool too. My psn is 'Jalisco', but I don't have ps+ right now lol. It expired a week ago and since i take forever to actually learn ANY characters in ANY fighting games I decided to just lab MVCI for a couple of weeks before actually playing online. I'll let you know as soon as I get the ps plus. Thanks bro. Also this brings me to a point, I must be the slowest learner ever, really takes me ages to learn combos and tech lol. Anyone else?

Ultron is super fun. I need to main a flight character, are morrigan's flight combos the easiest out of all flight characters? What about staircase combos? Also she's the only flight character that can start them from the ground, damn I don't know who to main. Because everyone's so damn fun!

Ultron brings a lot to the table but flight combos are different per flight characters that can do it, with Morrigans most likely being the easiest and Nova's being the hardest IMO. Ultron flight combo is usually only three hits and after you dash upwards into QCF+HK.

Quick note about that Ultron flight combo, if you allow the opponent to land and lay on the floor you cannot OTG them afterwards, but you can call in your partner as soon as you do the input (Ultron must not be diving in yet when you tag) to continue the combo before they lay on the floor leaving the OTG to combo afterwards

Are you talking about not being able to otg after qcf+hk?

Got to play my friends Sigma and Panther last night. Panther seems kinda ehh. Really low health, not too great damage, but really good mobility. Sigma on the other hand seems crazy. Slow but high damage, armored like hulk, good range, Jedahs pinwheels, and crazy good supers. Haven't got to play Monster Hunter yet, plan on buying her in a couple hours.

I actually can't wait to try Panther and Monster Hunter. Anyone going to buy the season pass for the Premiere skins? Or just buy it individual or smaller packs?

Monster Hunter is crazy fun to play! Currently trying Haggar and Hunter combo and they make a pretty much tanky ass team with Haggar leading.

BTW all DLC have 4 Supers! CRAZY

PROS - Monster Hunter's down forward P sword attack has INFINITE ARMOR! At least from what ive experienced thus far. So if you're fighting a button masher, you will take damage, but that attack will still hit and you can switch for some SICK combo mix ups. She is definitely THEE best tank thus far.

CONS - Her fucking FACE in wave 1 alt-outfit. DAMN! But besides that...her mobility is BAD! She does have a dodge move pressing the two kick buttons that helps with her mix ups, but she cant air combo worth shit. Her timing on combos are somewhat tricky, so you really gotta pay attention to what normals you use.

Today ill work more on her, and use Sigma Haggar Team to see how good he fairs out. But thats all i got as of now. Black Panther is my least favorite thus far

Capcom is REALLY REACHING for cash since sales suck. That shit is expensive! And im NOT gonna flesh out 30 bones for costumes of characters I dont even use. I'll wait until Haggar gets his and probably buy separate. Save your money on that pass. Eventually, it will all be bundled as a sale price when Capcom realizes nobody will waste their money on that shit

Thinking of picking up that DmC Dante alternate costume and learning how to play Dante just to mess with my friends who absolutely hate that outfit.

Can anyone give me an input on Sigma? I don't have any of the DLC and have heard and seen a lot about MH already. Panther doesn't look like my kind of Character, but Sigma does, but no one has said anything about him yet. He looks big and technical though.

Also haven't played the game enough the past couple days, Got spanked online. Getting good is a time investment. D:

I just briefly played him in practice mode. But he has a counter move and a command grab. The command grab HP seems like its the only one you can combo off of. Down Back P is a dash sword attack simular to Zero except, you can get an extra hit and continue a combo string. If you do the HP version, its an anti-air. He's pretty good. I just need to play with him a bit more but he can do some HEAVY damage. His Level 3 can link with Monster Hunter's combo right after tag. So THATS dope! Not sure if he has armor because i didnt play him online, but later today, i will experiment with him.

Quick MH notes:
- qcf hp is completely armored and can only be stopped through grabs. Very slow but leads to good damage if you hit someone with it.
- instant air qcb lp is a fast overhead, but only the first hit, so you gotta be close.
- all her greatsword normals are immune to light attacks, similar to nemisis. J hp is great for controlling the air.
- You can combo off of f hk by canceling into roll. Good normal for the neutral

So I really want to pick up the game but it seems a little intimidating with so much shit going on at the same time..

What tutorial videos do yo guys recommend to watch.

Also what characters are good with the lowest execution to start off.. sort of like the doomsday of mvci lol

I believe if you look a few pages back, you will see other's posting youtube videos on how to get the basics down. Its good Research, sir :)

So far, so good. I'm waiting on Venom to drop to get my DLC fix for this game. How are you guys enjoying the meta? Dante is the Supergirl of this game. Space stone seems to be getting fleshed out, and seems to fight the brain dead reality stone fairly well.

Nemesis, Hulk, Rider are very much the Doomsdays of this game

Is it me or does this game have infinitely more depth that injustice. I could definitely be wrong but at least that's what it seems like from the outside

Apparently, my Hori Commander 4 controller FINALLY came in after the 2nd try (Yup Amazon fucked up but now I have replacement buttons for it for free) And I must say....as Monster Hunter would be the only one that tickles my fancy out of the 3, im not really GooGoo Gaga over this DLC.

Haggar is my guy right now, so anybody that can mesh well with him is part of the JBeezY Team. The only person so far that fits the bill is Ghost Rider.

Matchmaking....Hmmmm....I've been seeing alot of Mega Mans, some Dantes, a good amount of Jedahs, and little bit of Hulks.

Gonna try some Black Panther a lil more today to finalize my decision if this DLC is a hit or big miss...

I wouldn't say it's necessarily more "depth" but the options feel a bit stronger and more varied. NRS games tend to devolve to finding your best string/option to open someone up, MvC is no different just faster paced IMO, I'm open to being disagree'd with.

Let me know how the controller works for you. Try messing with the settings like rotating the D-PAD and stuff to get it to fix your fancy.
