We're trying bro. It's real out here. Storm shuttered up in the house riding it out for the weekend. Hopefully all goes well!
Real talk, if there's a way you can get out you should. This might be the biggest hurricane in human history.Tampa FL here. Who evacuated because I didn't
The crappy part is, I don't think we could even leave at this stage even if we wanted with the way it is out here now. Gas wouldn't make it out the state. Traffic is dead stop. @just_2swift and i are both from Tampa and I'm close to the water so it reallyyyy sucks. Options are soooo limited. Just hoping that it shifts more at the last minute or powers down over land, but it's looking rough...Real talk, if there's a way you can get out you should. Either way, wish you guys the best of luck. Stay safe.
What stupid job do you have that values work more than your life? Quit that jobStuck at work during it for the weekend.
They have we have a lot of folks from Miami here in Central Florida, I work at a retail store and I can tell you things have been insane here. Luckily tomorrow is the last day and we get through this storm once and for all and go back to the beautiful sunshine state.I was just reading that this is the LARGEST FLORIDA EVACUATION in the state's history. They even have to have a police escort follow fuel trucks... well, they did at least. I would imagine that by now a lot of those lower areas have been evacuated.
oh my God. do they know when the storm is supposed to hit? I've never experiences a natural disaster but this still freaking me out! I can only imagine what those involved must be going throughI was just reading that this is the LARGEST FLORIDA EVACUATION in the state's history. The storm hits the Florida keys and South Florida around Sunday, it will go upward and hit the South Eastern states by Monday.oh my God. do they know when the storm is supposed to hit? If it makes you feel better it hit the Caribbean islands pretty bad but apparently there still wasn't much loss of life. Same with Harvey. As long as you're sheltered up it'll probably be alright. All the best man.The crappy part is, I don't think we could even leave at this stage even if we wanted with the way it is out here now. Gas wouldn't make it out the state. At least we're uber stocked up for long power outages and all so there's that! -.-
Healthcare related jobs, such as working at a hospital, mandate that you work through the storm. But yeah, other than that, definitely get the hell out of there. What stupid job do you have that values work more than your life? Quit that job
Stay safe, bro. I'm looking forward to that mop again vs your Bats.I'm in central Florida and I'm riding it out. All that I ask is that everyone keeps memeing (not sarcasm btw)
