Ever since the 20th Anniversary of Soul Calibur, the Twitter account has been fairly active. Posting character match ups for fans to vote on, supposed concept designs (heard about but not yet confirmed) and a very Boon-esque "Whose boot is this" tweet.

Call it a pipe dream or wishful thinking but could we potentially be seeing casual hints at a soon-to-be announced sequel or spiritual successor to the Soul series ?

Whatever happened to Soul Cal: Two Swords that was supposed to be released? I heard they stopped production or I'm so far out of the loop that it actually got released and now I have to go cry in a corner because I've been waiting so long for a new SoulCal.

It's been a little over 4 years since the last game. Tekken 7 aside and forgetting Tekken vs Street Fighter Project Soul needs to be put to work releasing a new title. Whether it's a sequel or a spiritual successor

Soul Calibur 2 and 3 where the last good games of the series IMO.

Hopefully the revise it, and if they will announce a new SC, i expect them to remove dem super meters, super moves and all that bs, make a strong revision on what made the game so great.

Also they better bring back Killik and Talim.

Was not a huge fan of 5, but 2 and 3 were among my favorite fighters.

I personally enjoyed iv and v very much. True that the meter system in V was something I didn't like at first but it wasn't that bad

SC V was a sorta disappointment for me. Soul Calibur II was the best imo but III wasn't bad either. Would love "going to the roots" with modern visuals - 6th one.

I enjoyed V though I can see how Veteran players wouldn't like it.
