Injustice 2 on PC

Kind of surprised there isn't any talk of this considering the outrage that followed mkx pc not getting kombat pack 2. What are you PC players (without a console) planning to do? Patiently wait for a PC announcement/buy a console/skip the game entirely? I'm thinking of buying a console just for the one game which doesn't feel so great buy ye know

There will be a PC release in about a year or a year and a half with all the DLC included after it's released. Some Injustice 2 complete edition or whatever. I guarantee it.

To be honest. It's no point to even play fighting games on pc unless it's cross play like street fighter 5. It's no point. Less competition on their. If you want competitive matches play on consoles that is where majority of good players are at honestly.

Buy yourself a console it's only 300 dollars if you work.

You think that WB and NRS are going to risk get mud reputation risking it all by porting together with console again?. I don't think so. so please wait your 365 days a.k.a a year to get this on PC. That is what I think the day they are going to release a PC version only if they think It's worth it. The risk is too high for them to port it to PC early. Sorry pal.

Fighting games on PC have always been a mostly fruitless effort unless you really into obscure anime fighters that only exist on pc.

Console is always where the incredible bulk of the playerbase will be and given the very ragged history of technical issues of pc fighting games (mkx launch, the still current and very real 1 sided lag problems of pc sf5 and so, so much more over the years) console is always the safe bet, on top of the smart one.

Considering how well made and received MKXL on PC was with the new porting I'm a little surprised and kinda disappointed, but I prefer not having the game entirely than having to deal with another awful port like MK9, IGAU or MKX.

To anwser the OP question though, I'll probably buy the game at a really low price when it comes out on PC. I wouldn't be able to wait as easily if it was a Mortal Kombat game though.

Yes and no, the MK9/MKX CIS scene has always been mostly on PC as far as I know.

I really hope you PC guys from the MKX thread complaining on buying a new system learned your lesson. If you reasoning on not getting a console still has to do with Money, I"m pretty sure you could have saved $300 by now going on 2 years...

Buying a console has never been the problem with the MKX drama, unfortunatly exclusives exist and we learned to deal with that.

The problem was having to buy a new console and the game (+ DLCs) again to stay somewhat competitive, and that was fucking stupid considering that PC players paid just as much as console players.

Do you guys think that the huge majority is only the consoles? Don't make me laugh. Most of the console majorities are actually PC gamers at best. You even have seen some people play in PC at the recent tournies. I met ShArp and the rest of good players in the PC that I would N-E-V-E-R meet in the consoles.

Publishing the games exclusively in the consoles is just another marketing bullshit from WB helping Sony and Microsoft to sell more consoles. Now that QLoc works with them they have no excuse to exclude the PC gaming. Either they release it sooner than they know, or there will be a problem.

I hope that the NRS guys read this and forward this issue right at the WB's face.

Yes. The majority of the players in this Community and FGC is console.

To be fair, making the switch is kinda expensive, saving for it or not. If I wasn't dead sure I'd be playing for years, there's no way I'd do it. This game is costing me nearly $600 between console, ultimate edition, ps plus, and a xim4 because I'm a real keyboard warrior.

I'm stingy af, so I never thought I'd spend this much on one game, but here we are.

At this point in technology history~ most people don't even own a gaming-caliber PC. I know very few people who even own a desktop computer. Without crossplay there is no good reason not to go console unless you are super into nude mods or something.

Not where i live.

Also, this is BS of the highest degree, there is absolutely a point, i bought MKX on PC and i still play tons of online matches with some very good players(less active players yes, but good players nontheless), i have hundreds of ours on SFIV that i played back in the day as well(no cross play there).

I for one cannot afford another platform, i invested on PC that's where i am able to play, if they don't release it on PC, i won't act like they own me something, however don't come with the "just buy a console" solution, if it was that simple, no one would even waste time doing topics like this.

For someone who has only a pc there are other options besides waiting for a pc port of Injustice. Killer Instinct, SF5 and soon Tekken 7 to name a few. No need to pay for a console + a subscription fee every month.

While I have a pretty darn good gaming PC and both playstation and xbox I can safely say I mostly game on the consoles because I have more friends(online and irl) to play with. To be honest it's worthwhile to get a console for that reason alone.

I'm a retro gamer, with 6 different old school consoles. Initially, I wasn't going to buy into the "next generation" at all. When I got my Xbox One two years ago, I was tight on cash, and bought a refurbished system, because it was cheaper than buying a gaming rig (my first plan) and I wanted to play Killer Instinct.

Fast forward to now, and everbody's on PS4. Tourney standard is PS4. And "What's an Xbox?" and yadda, yadda yadda...

You know what? You're damned if you do or don't. No platform is going to allow you to play everything when you want to play it. It's true that generally, PS4 is what to buy if you want to play fighting games, but you will miss out on good games elsewhere.

Everyone can't buy everything and probably shouldn't anyway. If you're on PC and you don't want to spend a bunch of money for ONE friggin console game, I don't blame you at all.
